Bennett's Perspective

I felt Razor waking me up, and I was wondering why since my work starts at 2:00 PM, and he is waking me up at 11:00 AM.

"Bennett! Bennett!!" Razor was yelling for me to wake up.

"What is it Razor?...it's so early.."

"Remember? Our early stroll at the park!"

I completely forgot to tell him that I have a job now. What should I tell him?

"Uhm, Razor...I-.." *sigh* "I have a job....and I can't really go and have a stroll with you.."

"What?.."

"Everyone does actually.. Even Albedo, he's a science teacher now, Venti is running a bussiness in a cafe helping Xiao, and Lumine is a designer, and I think you're the only one that..."

"Doesn't have one?.."

"Yes..."

I could see Razor's face, all down and gloomy.

"Hey Razor, don't worry! I think my shift ends at dinner so, I think we can go to the park at that time" I try to comfort him with my words.

"Sure, but what do I do with my spare time?" Razor asks.

"Hmm, maybe help my dad with some stuff, since I'm going to be gone for a while"

Razor's face lifts back up as I get ready for work.

I took a bath, brushes my teeth, and headed down for breakfast.

"Goodmorning, did you rest well? My dad greeted with an appetizing scent coming from the kitchen.

"We slept well, thank you for asking. By the way, what's that mouthwatering smell?" I asked.

"Try to guess!"

As me and Razor walk to the table, I saw hashbrowns and more of me and Razor's favorites.

"Go and eat up! I don't want you two to have empty stomachs on the road" My dad smiled.

I finished my meal and went back upstairs to change my clothes.

I said goodbye to Razor, and went to work.

When I arrived at the office, Fischl greeted me with a smile.

At that exact moment, I recalled what I heard yesterday.

I felt the sweat go down my face as I see her smile in the corner of my eye. She then heads to a pile of files on her table, continuing what she was doing.

I sat down, and started working.

4:52 PM

I grabbed a cup of coffee to wake myself up, since I woke up a bit more early than I normally do. And Fischl noticed.

"Hey Benny, you look a bit tired, do you need some help?"

"No, I'm fine. I can do this myself."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!"

"Ok, if you insist"

I let out a long sigh until she was back at her table, I just hope that I finish my work in time.

6:35 PM
