I am thinking of making Iruma a quarter demon as I have seen many theories about it
This is one of those:
There was another human that came to the underworld in the past, and had their memories erased and sent away. I believe this was Iruma's grandmother, and she got pregnant, from Sullivan. The gender is purposely not mentioned in the English version, I wonder if there was a hint in the original Japanese.
One of Iruma's parents thus had demon blood, at a half rate. That parent likely had their evil phase, and probably dragged the other parent into also being so terrible. That's why Iruma's parents are such trash.
Sullivan had known about it the entire time and kept an eye on his bloodline, and thus when Iruma was available he simply adopted him as a grandson.
The reason why Iruma can do a lot of the stuff he does is because of his demon blood, and its synergy with Sullivan. This is also why Sullivan knew those things would work out, like the chant at the beginning which otherwise why would a human reading it do anything? As well as the ring was attracted to him and chose him.
