20th December 1995
"Mommy! Daddy!" I heard a little girl shout as soon as Me and Severus exited Kings Cross station.
"Hello princess." Severus said, picking up Michelle
"I missed you!" Michelle beamed
"We missed you too darling." I said, caressing Michelle's cheek
"I was wondering when the two of you will arrive."
"Hi dad." I said hugging him
A few minutes later we were all back at Severus's house, serving dinner. And by all I mean me, Severus, Michelle with dad and Eileen.
Dinner was quiet, well, except for Michelle's baby mumbles.
"So, how is Hogwarts?" dad asked, breaking the silence that stood between the adults.
"Could be better." I replied
"Why? What happened?" Eileen asked.
"We have a new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, and she isn't the most likable person I can tell you that." Severus said
"Likable? She's the Devil himself." I said, rolling my eyes
"Well, that sucks. But I was wondering how the two of you are." Dad began "No news that we might need to know?"
"Andrew." Growled Eileen
"What?! I'm just asking." Dad said in a defensive manner, sipping some wine from his glass.
And that's when it hit me
"He just, technically, asked me if I'm pregnant." I told Severus through Legiliments
He chuckled at my thoughts which made Eileen and dad look at us confused.
"Hey! It's not nice talking secrets through Legilimency." Said dad a bit comically, which made me, Eileen and Severus laugh
"Sorry dad. And for your information, I'm not pregnant." I said with a cheeky smile.
Dad didn't say anything, instead he gave us a "death glare" and scoffed, going back to his food.
The whole table laughed at his actions, including him.
That's one of the many things that I loved about dad. He knew when to be serious or when he could laugh.
"You know Andrew, I do expect you to give me my bet winnings." Eileen said
"Bet winnings?" Severus questioned
"Andrew and I betted that you'll get pregnant until Christmas break." Said Eileen
"Really mom?" Severus said.
