The next morning I woke up and got ready for my shift at the Garrison. John didn't come over this morning, but I didn't really expect him to. I'm sure tommy had a job for him. 

I made my way to the Garrison and opened the front door. tommy was sitting in his office with the door open. I walked into his office. 

"Good morning tommy." I said, standing at the door.

"Good morning Gabriela." he said.

"How was London?" he asked. 

"It was fun. Its been a while since I've been there, so I'm happy I got to go. I finally met Ada and she's the best." I said, with a smile. 

"Good. Arthur said you all had a good time." he said. 

"He almost brought back a wife." I said, with a laugh. tommy looked at me with a confused face.

"He got with this one girl and he told me that she said she wanted to come back to Birmingham with him but he told her to fuck off." I said, with another laughing. 

"Of course he did." tommy said laughing a little.

"Well I'm glad you had a good time." he said. I smiled at him and excused myself so I could start working. 

My work day went by slowly. A lot of people coming in, but it went by slowly. At six I quickly grabbed all my stuff, and said bye to Sam and made my way out and I walked to the Shelby house to look for Polly. I got there and knocked on the door. Michael opened it. 

"Hello Michael." I said.

"Hi, come in." he said, with a smile. 

I walked in and he closed the door behind me. I walked up the stairs in front of him. No one was up there. I turned over to Michael. 

"Is Pol here?" I asked. 

"No, she's not here right now but I'm sure she'll be here soon. If you wanna wait for her." Michael said. 

"Are you the only one here?" I asked. 

"Yeah." he said. 

"Would you like some tea?" he asked. 

"No, I'm fine thank you." I said, and sat down on the couch. Michael sat down on the couch across from me. It was silent for a while until I broke it.

"So, how do you like working for the company so far?" I asked him. 

"I like it. They don't let me see any of the illegal stuff they do. I work with all the legal stuff, but its good." he said. 

"That's because you're young. Wait till you get a bit older and you're going to want to come back to this." I said.

"I don't think mum is ever going to let me see that stuff." he said, with a laugh. 

"And how are you adjusting to this new life?" I asked him. 

"Surprisingly well. I've learned more here then I ever did in my old house." he said.

"How is working at the pub? I heard about what happened with the man." he said. 

"Oh yeah. That was pretty bad, but I never saw him again and nothing bad has happened." I said. 

"You didn't hear what John did to him?" he asked me.

"No? I only saw when tommy beat him bloody." I said.

"John shot the man right in the head." Michael said.
