*two weeks later*

Today is the Epson race.

I got up early and got ready for the race. I was taking the train to London soon to make it there. I still wasn't sure what tommy wants me to do.

tommy was staying at Ada's in London and Arthur was still locked up in jail, and I still didn't know what tommys play was to get Arthur out of there... no one knew.

I was ready and made my way to the kitchen and made myself some tea and toast with butter. I ate it up and washed up and grabbed my heels and threw them on.

I was wearing a nice light blue silk dress that tommy bought me for the occasion. He told me I needed to wear something extra nice.

I grabbed my purse and checked inside of it for my train ticket and the Epson derby ticket. They were both in there so I grabbed my coat that went with my dress.

I opened the front door and made my way to the train station.

A lot of people awaiting to get on the train for London today, extra packed because of the race.

I got on the train and was Jerimiah and took a seat next to him.

"Hello Jerimiah." I said, he looked up from his newspaper and recognized me.

"Hello, Miss" he said, with a smile.

"Are you heading to the Epson as well?" he asked me.

"I am. tommy has some work for me." I said.

"You came alone?" I asked him.

"I did." he said.

"Is it all right with you if I follow you to the race?" I asked him.

"Sure, no problem at all." he said, with a smile and for the rest of the train ride we talked.

Before today I never really had a conversation with him about anything other than work, but today we talked about other things, and he's a very nice man. He's a priest, and a really good one.

The train came to a full stop at the London train station. We made it out of the station and grabbed a taxi.

The taxi dropped us off and we got out of the car and made our way towards the big stairs of the derby.

"Found the lost sheep." Jerimiah said as we saw tommy standing on the stairs.

"Come on, gabby." tommy said.

"Bye Jerimiah, see you later. Thank you for riding with me." I said, and he waved goodbye to me and I walked up the stairs towards tommy.

"What do you think?" I asked him, showing him my dress.

"About what?" he asked.

"About the dress." I said.

"Undo two buttons. Come on." he said, and began walking up the stairs.

Why would I need to undo two buttons??

I did anyways and began walking up the stairs behind him.

We walked into a sitting area, where people were having drinks, waiting for the race to begin.

It was really pretty, nice flowers everywhere, a fountain with water that was in the middle of the room.

"tommy. I never thought I'd see the like of this." I said, looking around the room.

"Yeah?" tommy said, as we walked to a table.
