Gabriela's tale

thirteen

Today was Monday, and I was going to have to go back to work. I wasn't looking forwards to it. 

I haven't seen anyone since Saturday, I was waiting for tommy to come and apologize of at least come and check on me. 

I was feeling better, I tried not to think of it. 

I don't want to see anyone today but I have to go to work. Maybe, it'll be fun, maybe something fun will happen.

I went on and got ready for work and made my way down to the den. Once I arrived I made my way inside. I walked passed the tables and everyone was getting their stuff ready for the day. 

I saw Esme and said good morning to her and made my way to my office. 

I took off my coat and purse and hung them both up, and made my way towards my desk. I sat there for a while, physically and mentality preparing myself for the day.

There was a knock at my door...

"Come in." I said, and the door was opened by Polly.

"tommy's called a family meeting at the Garrison. He wants us all there now." she said.

"Good morning to you too." I said playfully.

"Yes good morning, now come on everyone will be there soon." she said, and left the room.

I grabbed my things and made my way towards the front door. Polly was outside smoking a cigarette. I walked up to her and we both began walking to the Garrison.

"Why is he so urgent so see us?" I asked her.

"Not sure, but it better be quick. I have things to do." she said, and not long after we made it to the Garrison. 

We walked in and there was no one in sight except for Sam.

"Hello Sam." I said.

"Gabriela! Its good to see you." he said, and I smiled at him, I was going to talk more to him but Polly cut me off.

"Where's tommy?" she asked him.

"He's in there Miss." he said, pointing at the side of room, the room we always stayed at.

Polly made her way towards the room and I walked behind her. She opened the door and walked in. tommy, John, Arthur, Michael, Finn, and Ada where already in there.

"Finally, you all are here, take a seat." tommy said, getting up from where he was sitting and motioned us to sit. 

We sat down and I noticed how excited he looked.

"I haven't seen you this happy in years. What's going on?" Polly asked him.

"I'll get to that." tommy said.

"All right well, I wanted to say thank you to everyone, you all did a good job at Epson. We fucking did it!" he said.

"Yeah, we fucking did!" Arthur said.

"Yes, so thank you all. We're moving up." tommy added.

"And I'm also going to be a father!" he blurted out, and we all looked at him with wide eyes, and all looked at each other.

"Grace came back. It was an accident, but she's staying and we're back." he said.

"Grace?" Polly said, and tommy nodded.

Grace is tommy's ex(not ex anymore), he was madly in love with her, but when she left he blocked any source of love, and now she's back and she's pregnant with tommy's baby...

"Congratu-fucking-lations brother!" Arthur said, happily for his brother.

"Oh tommy. Congratulations." Ada said, and made her way to hug him.
