To talk about God near Kim Namjoon is like speaking to a deaf man. He may see it, but he will never hear nor understand it. 

 

Simply because Kim Namjoon, 25, Ilsan native, believes that believing in the metaphysical is the fault of man. 

Relying on these supposed people, who you’ve never seen, and will never have a connection to is ridiculous and a waste of time. Especially knowing that religion in itself was created from illusion, greed, power, and control. Used to make the masses ductile. 

 

Expecting the world to change through prayer, and hope was nothing but idiotic. It gives people the excuse to laze around and expect things to happen. And when they don’t, they blame those around them and those who don’t believe for not believing hard enough, as if a few words and glances to the sky would help fight the wrongdoings of the world. 

 

Because of this Namjoon, ever since he was a 20 year old out of college, thought that it was his job to make people understand this. 

He, like his husband Yoongi, graduated at the top of his class. An art history and philosophy major, and now a curator at one of Seoul’s biggest art museums, was one of the biggest threats to their community right now.

 

Not that many knew he was the threat. 

 

Namjoon, now 28, had a status he had to uphold. Almost akin to that of a small time idol, or major CEO.

 

He thought of himself as important, and better than. But he never had expected he would become someone so important within their community, someone who hosted galas and parties that drew some of the biggest names in Seoul and even some who were popular in foreign countries. 

He himself had lived in America with his mother for quite some time, but he had always been a Korean native, in spite of that. 

 

He, as a young boy, took pride in knowing that a little Korean kid could outsmart and outscheme those who had been handed those privileges from the day they were born. 

He got everything he had due to hard work and superior intellect, why he decided to take a gamble and marry Min Yoongi.  A foil of sorts to the man, sometimes was beyond him.

 

Of course, he had a plan, he always does. 

But Min Yoongi, bright eyed and bushy tailed, someone who he could mold and corrupt to his will in order to carry out his plans, was the exact opposite of what he had expected.
