When it came to Jungkook, there was an inexplicable urge to please. 

 

The boy simply wanted everyone to see that he could do his best even when things were tough. 

Most the time, people acknowledged this. 

Praising his career venture as a photographer, he had worked with idols, models, and other A-list celebs. 

 

Most of his work was carried out in Busan, but recently he had moved to Seoul with his girlfriend Min Yoonji. 

She had suggested they move closer to her brother, especially since she had marriage in her sights.

Jeon Jungkook met Min Yoonji through one of his coworkers, exactly two years ago. 

 

She had been Jungkooks' assistant, she was smart and diligent. But carried herself well, she wouldn't ever back down from a challenge. 

She was more like himself than he had expected.

And soon enough the two had begun dating, dating became making it official and making it official became..

 

He didn't want to know.

Because halfway through their almost three year relationship, Jungkook realized he wasn't interested anymore.

 

He couldn't bear the thought of hurting her, because she had always been so good to him. Yoonji became his only family. 

 

Especially after his parents cut ties with him over his career. They hoped he'd be like them, heir to a conglomerate and a successful businessman and social networker. 

It was too much for him, and he had fought them on it ever since he was 11. 

 

His father was the bane of his existence and his mother wasn't any better.

The constant, "Do better Jeongguk-ah" and the "Can't you do anything right, Jeongguk-ah?". 

Those words clawed at him, he hated it. 

 

He wanted to disappear, start a new life and do what he wanted. 

Yet he wanted to please just as much. 

 

He tried so hard, he went to school, did all of what he asked yet he couldn't even do that right in the end.
