When Thor said that traveling by the Bifrost wasn't painful, but it would feel weird, he wasn't wrong. We got to Asgard, and I felt like I was swaying as my body tried to steady itself. Once I did, Thor was grinning at me, clearly amused. That's when I noticed we weren't alone. I blinked, before remembering having met this man before, though his name escapes me.

"Welcome Freya. We've been waiting for your arrival." he said, and I tilted my head trying to recall on my past experiences, but drawing a blank. He was familiar, and I was sure I've met him before, but for the life of me, I could not recall who he was. It was pissing me off.

"Freya, this is Heimdall. He's the guardian of the Bifrost." Thor finally said, and I nodded slowly as everything came back. He's the one that sees and hears all. Right. Not sure how I could forget about a guy like him. Oh well. Thor motioned for me to follow him, and we walked towards the open area of the dome-like cave we seemed to be in, and I felt a gentle smile as I took in a sight I hadn't seen in years.

"Welcome to Asgard." he said, before we began walking over the Bifrost bridge to the city. As we were walking, I did my best to ignore everyone's stares. No doubt wondering who I was, and why an outsider was brought here. Little did they know I've been here before. We finally entered the palace, and Thor lead us straight to the throne room where Odin sat on his throne, clearly waiting. I took a deep breath, readying myself. I wasn't a big fan of him the last time. I doubt that's changed since I've last seen him.

"Father, I've returned with Freya." Thor said, pulling us to a stop at the foot of the throne stairs. Odin looked down on us, and I fought from scoffing at how accurate that is as a whole. Even without the throne, he always seemed to look down on others. It bothered me.

"Thank you, Freya. Your name is the only thing that gets any form of reaction out of Loki. I'd like for you to talk to him, and try to get answers for us." Odin said, and I fought from showing my curiosity upon hearing that. Why was my name the only thing that caused any reaction from Loki?

"I can try." I finally said, before I was led straight to where the cells were located. After walking for a bit, the guard motioned towards the cell up ahead and I nodded once, watching him leave. Feeling better now that I was alone, I walked over to Loki's cell, and saw him lying down tossing a cup just to catch it as it fell. I found myself grinning as I came to a stop.

"You look bored." I said, and watched as he stopped his little game before he sat up and noticed me. He grinned as he got up, walking towards the barrier coming to a stop right before me.

"I told you, love. Now what brings you here to Asgard?" Loki asked, and I shrugged. I had a feeling that if he knew I was purposely summoned just to get answers, he wouldn't give me said answers.

"I just want to talk to you, that's all. You're the God of Mischief, right? So is this the real you, or is this just an illusion you're portraying to everyone else?" I asked, having a feeling that he was hiding behind an illusion. I mean, I would too if I were the God of Mischief. He stared at me with an unreadable expression, before letting out a sigh. I watched as he broke the illusion to reveal him sitting and leaning against the backwall, his belongings thrown apart and broken around the cell, and his feet were bloodied. Which made me think that whatever method they were using to try and get answers from Loki had affected him. I mean, obviously it did.

"Smart girl." Loki said, and I couldn't help but feel a ping of sympathy for the man sitting in the cell in front of me. Yeah, he caused a lot of death and destruction in New York, but looking at him now? I had a feeling he was just misunderstood and acting out. At least, I hoped that was the case and he wasn't toying with me.

"Rough day?" I found myself asking, and Loki chuckled dryly at that. I studied him, reading every emotion that crossed his eyes though it were few. I just... I wanted to understand Loki, I guess. Our little talk in New York has been eating at me, and I supposed that I could finally get the answers I needed.
