When I got home it was already time for supper and I was starving.
"Where were you?" My mother asked curiously. "The forest," was all I said, plopping down at out little dining room table. There were only 4 of us at the table now.
My father soon came in and my younger sister jogged into the room and took her seat beside me. We ate our soup and bread silently, especially me.

After Supper I went upstairs and went through my night stand drawer. I found a piece of paper inside. I don't remember ever putting that in there...
As I pulled it out I saw my name written across the top. A letter?

"Red
I just want you to know that I love you. I know you probably think I'm joking or being dramatic or something, but I do. I guess I never really got the chance to tell you. Tell Emmalyn that too.
I know you'll be moving out soon too and I just want to give you some advice, even though I wrote this before I left.
Make sure you start stocking up on housing parts before u go. Even if your bag is heavy, it will be worth it. I should have gotten more when I had the chance. I'm going to be sleeping in a shack for the next few days probably. Don't tell mom and dad that though.
Also make sure you get plenty of food and enough weapons and you should start scouting for the place you want your house. Make sure you stay near mom and dad though. They might need your help and you theirs down the road.
This letter probably is pretty cheesy, but I wish you good luck when you move out because I won't be there to witness it. But I do plan to visit you when you have your own house. Isn't it only another few weeks? Good luck.

Love,
Drew~~"

I skimmed over it another time, not believing my stubborn hotheaded brother had taken the time to write this and give me real advice. Well it sounded real at least. And I planned to keep this letter. I put it back in the drawer and sorted through some other stuff, mostly just organizing it.

After that everyone was getting ready for bed so I crawled into bed. Drew's bed and nightstand was gone. He had taken it with him when he left.
I relectulantly shut my eyes and let sleep consume me.

(Sorry for the short chapter! Next one will be longer!)
