I woke up with the sun in my face, and I gently smiled as I stretched out.
As I sat up and tossed my covers back and looked around the bedroom. It appeared Emmalyn was already up, so I decided to go down stairs and check it out.
When I stepped off the last step I gazed around the ground level interior I noticed my sister and mother eating breakfast so I grabbed an apple and plopped down besides them.

"So when are you moving out Red?" My little sister asked, staring up at me.
"Umm... Mom?"
"It's up to you sweetheart. Any day at this point.."
"Oh.. Ok then.. I'll move out in a few days I guess."
"Can you go to the village with me, one last time?" My sister asked. I couldn't say no to her bright green eyes, and frankly, I didn't even think about declining.
"Of course," I smiled.
"Yay!"
"But let's go tomorrow, ok?"
"Ok!" She chirped happily, and then scurried outside a moment later.

I decided to start preparing to move today. I probably should ask Dad what he'd be willing to spare me though. He was probably at the farm, so that's where I went first.

~~

"Dad?" I called when I arrived. I spotted him on the other side of the garden, harvesting wheat.

"Yup!" He answered, straightening himself up to look over at me as I approached.

I smiled at his sparkling green eyes.
"I'm moving out in a few days. Just wondering if you could spare me anything?"
"Ah, of course! You can take a bundle of raw wood and two bundles of cobble. Mom will make you some bread and you can take your house. That will be all I'm afraid though. Got to save some for the family that is staying," He said. I grinned with glee.
"Thank you so much Dad!"
"No problem, Red." He smiled gently.
"Now, I need to head down to the mines, think you can harvest and replant the rest of the garden?"
"Sure thing."
"Great. I'll leave you to it then," He said, handing me the seeds.
I turned away, and began doing the job. I had to hurry though. I was supposed to meet Tony soon and that was on the other side of the house.

By the time noon rolled around I was just finishing, and I hurriedly began making my way to where I would be meeting Tony. When I got there he was on his back, staring up at the clear blue sky through the trees.
"Hey, sorry I'm late," I said as I approached, plopping down near him and observing him.
"Don't worry about it, I came early."
"Ok. So what's up?" I asked casually.
"Eh, nothing much. Just getting ready to move tomorrow."
"Oh, really? That's great! I'm moving out in a few days too."
"That's cool," He said, sitting up to face me.

"Do you know where you're gonna make your home?" He asked me.
"No idea. But I know what I want."
"Which is..?"
"In a meadow, overlooking a body of water with the trees behind my house."
"That sounds lovely.. Honestly, I myself have no idea what I want," He chuckled.
"I find that surprising," I said, smiling over at him.
"Why's that?"
"I just though every kid dreamed about their perfect home."
"I never gave it much thought. My parents kind of put it in my head that I would live in the village."
"That doesn't seem like such an awful plan really. Plenty of people to socialize with," I shrugged.
I seemed to get lost in his bright blue eyes, and when I realized this I blushed, glancing away from his striking eyes.
"Everything ok, Red?" He asked me.
"Yea, of course," I said, warily glancing back and commanding myself to quit acting like a lovesick weirdo chick.

"Mmmmhmmm..."
"I am!" I exclaimed.
"Never said you weren't." He smirked, then stood up.
"C'mon, I want to show you something," He said, holding his hand out to me. I hesitated before taking his hand and being pulled up to my feet.
"Lead the way," I said.
And with a smirk, he darted off into the trees.
"Hey!" I laughed, running after him.
"Come on now, don't tell me that Now I'm faster than you!"
"You never were, and never will be," I giggled, soon catching up and running beside him, since I had no idea where he was leading me to.
