ji changmin and choi chaewon decided on a simple garden wedding with only close relatives and friends. in the early morning at 7, both families were pacing around the villa that was owned by the ji family. even the bride and groom were rushing around in pajamas to help with preparations before guests arrive at 11.
"mum! where's the cake?" "ji changmin! do not take a bite out of the cake!" "is this banner supposed to be hung here?" "dad! that's my wedding dress!" "choi chanhee! you were in-charge of catering! where's the food?"
soon, both bride and groom were pushed into their own rooms, which were opposite of one another, to freshen up and get themselves ready. choi chaewon wasted no time in getting a refreshing shower after the morning chaos. meanwhile, changmin stared at the suit hung neatly in his wardrobe. it had been slightly more than a month since they met and agreed on the marriage but changmin still could not believe that they were getting married. his parents set up this marriage so that he could finally settle down with someone and he was grateful that it was chaewon. chaewon on the other hand sat infront of the mirror doing up her own make up. her simple white dress draped on her petite figure as she stood up from her seat, her hands reached up to fix some hair strands.

the chatters of the guests could be heard from the bedroom's window. 'it's almost time. i'm getting married to changmin, just like the dream i had.' a knock on the door made chaewon snap out of her thoughts. "chaewon, it's time to go," she could hear her brother's voice call her out from the outside. she stepped out of her room to see changmin's door wide opened and the room empty. her heart beated steadily fast. 'he's already waiting for me' chaewon thought as she linked her arms with her brother's.
"changmin's a great guy and i feel relieved that you would be in safe hands," chanhee started as they walked down the steps towards the garden at the back of the villa. "i know we argue alot as siblings but just know that i love you always," chanhee whispered as he patted her head gently before passing her to their dad.
"i hope you will be happy with him, chaewon," her dad carressed her hand that was clinging onto him as he nodded towards the gentleman waiting for her. and that was when she saw him. her dream guy and her husband-to-be. he was shining in his black tuxedo and bow tie. his dark hair was styled up, exposing his forehead, and he held a bright smile on his face when he saw her. "take care of her," mr choi said as he placed her hand onto changmin's awaiting one.
"you look so beautiful," his eyes never left her as he took the time to appreciate the beautiful girl infront of him. he smiled widely once again when their eyes meet before squeezing her hand slightly as a reassurance. the ceremony went on and changmin kept glancing to his left to look at chaewon, who could not hide her shy smiles.
"i pronounce you both husband and wife," their relatives and friends soared out loud as everyone celebrated the newlyweds. chaewon gazed up at him as changmin smiled, his hands rested on her waist. wait, are we kissing already? chaewon tried to brush off that thought. "let's be happy together, ji chaewon," with that, changmin leant forward, their noses were touching as he paused for abit. finally, he shifted up and placed a gentle peck on her forehead. warmth spread all over her cheeks as she shy away from the affectionate gesture. the two looked around them, seeing their family and friends gathered together, cheering for them. the view brought wide smiles onto their faces as changmin pulled her into his embrace and chaewon buried her face into his chest to hide from all the teasings they got.

the guests went home and both families were in the living room, chatting and resting for a bit after the wedding. chaewon had been resting in a guest room next to the living room. her eyes fluttered open and she could hear the voices of her parents and in-laws. sitting up, she looked around the room to see that it was already 5pm, two hours since the wedding ended.
"are you okay? did you get enough rest?" chaewon froze at the questions. they were the exact same questions that he had asked in her dreams. turning to look at him, changmin stepped into the room and turned on the lights. he took a seat next to her, taking her hand into his.
"do you want to freshen up and join the rest outside?" he asked, putting out his arm for her to hold. chaewon nodded and reached out for his arm. changmin took her back to the room she resided in and closed her door before going back into his to change into a more comfortable clothing.
a while later, their doors flung open and they stood at their doorway, startling one another. changmin stiffled a laugh at the coincidence and he gestured for chaewon to make her way down first.
"there they are!" their family cooed when they finally joined them. chaewon snuggled next to her brother. the thought of being married and living in separate houses made her a tiny bit upset that she would not see her older brother daily anymore. changmin squeezed in next to his parents on the other sofa.
"what's up with both of you acting so clingy today?" chanhee pointed it out, even though he threw his arm over chaewon to hug her close. "they're moving tomorrow! changmin, is the house ready?" mrs ji exclaimed.
changmin nodded, showing his thumbs up. the parents started talking about how things would change around their houses since their children got married, and chaewon being the soft-at-heart person she was, started to tear up. her lips formed a small pout as she tried to blink the tears away. "yah! don't cry, you're making me cry too!" chanhee hit her arm playfully as he swatted his own tears away. the night flew by quickly and everyone retreated back to their rooms in the ji's villa.
knock! knock!
chaewon perked up to look at the door. changmin stood at her door, smiling softly. "hey," he greeted in which she returned with a softer greeting. "the house is fully furnished. we're moving in together tomorrow, is that okay with you?" he asked. chaewon nodded, "i packed my stuffs already. can we drop by my house to pick them up first?" changmin agreed and then he closed her door after wishing her a 'goodnight'. they would be starting a new chapter in life together and their hearts raced excitedly at the thought of being together for the rest of their lives.
