Continued from the last chapter

Little suggestion, play halley's comet while reading this, you don't have to but I wrote this chapter while listening that song and I thought it made the chapter a lot better, hopefully that makes sense.

Aurora waited for Billie for what seemed like hours. She wasn't gonna just give up and leave as anyone else would.

She was committed to talking with Billie and getting everything off of her chest.

The girl pulled out her phone to kill some time while she waited for the girl. When she turned on the device the time read, 9:30 pm.

Aurora frowned. She called Billie a little over 35 minutes ago and she was still nowhere to be found.

She sighed. She thought Billie wanted this as badly she as did. Maybe she just chose the wrong time.

As Aurora got up to leave the silver-haired girl made her way to Aurora. A smile came to her face. Billie actually showed up.

"I'm sorry I'm late, I was busy with things." She said as she fixed her shirt.

"No you're okay, I should have chosen a more reasonable time." Aurora apologized.

But why was she the one apologizing? She quickly thought to herself. Billie was the one late not her.

"So, um, is there a reason why we're here?" Billie asked.

"Yeah, there is actually."

The girl cleared her throat, "I just wanted to apologize for the way that I acted towards you a couple of weeks ago. I should have never let my anger get to that point and it was selfish of me."

"But I also wanted to confess something." She added nervously.

Billie shook her head letting Aurora know she could continue.

The girl was scared that confessing her feelings would ruin what Billie and her had. And she didn't wanna risk that even for a split second.

So she stopped herself, probably not the brightest idea but she didn't wanna loose her.

"I um, never mind, I forgot what I was going to say." She chuckled nervously.

Definitely not what she wanted to say but she hoped that Billie would believe every word she just said.

"It's okay," Billie smiled, taking Aurora's hand and caressing it.

"Thank you for apologizing," she whispered.

"Yeah, no problem."

"Is there anything you could possibly want for your birthday Aurora?" Billie whined. She's been wanting to get Aurora something for the longest but she's just been simply changing the subject.

It's not that Aurora I didn't want Billie to get her anything, it's just that she feels bad when people spend their money on her.
