"Is everything really okay as you make it seem?" Dawn questions for the millionth time.
"Yes Dawn, I'm fine." Aurora huffs out, getting tired of being asked the same question all week.
"Okay, I'm just making sure. You just don't seem like yourself recently."
Aurora rolls her eyes, "I have to go, I need to finish my homework."
Dawn sighs, "alright, I'll talk to you later. I love you."
"Yeah, I love you too." She responds before hanging up the phone.
In reality Aurora didn't have any homework to do. She completed it right after she home from school.
The girl sat on her bed taking in all the silence in her house.
Sometimes it's was way too quiet for Aurora. Nothing ever happened here.
Aurora had nothing better to do so she decided to try and make plans with Billie.
Recently it's been really hard because she would always decline or always say she has other plans.
She hoped Billie would be free this time.
"Hey Aurora?" Billie's voice echoes.
The girl smiled to herself, "hey how are you?"
"I'm okay, you?"
Aurora bit her lip, "I don't really know." The girl responded truthfully.
The other end went silent. The girl was confused.
