As I stirred from my sleep, I stretched over reaching for Loki to find his side of the bed empty and cold. I sat up looking around the room for him. Spying him outside, leaning over the balcony in his black leather trousers, yet to put a top on.

I studied him from the bed, watching as the breeze caught his hair and danced silently with it. He was lost in thought.

I removed myself from the comfort of the luscious four postered bed and quietly made my way to him, wrapping my arms around his torso from behind and planting gentle kisses along his spine.

A chuckle rumbled in his chest, as he turned around to face me. He leant down and lifted me to meet his lips. Once satisfied with leaving them swollen, he placed me back down.

"Good morning my Love."

"Good morning to you too." I smiled up at him, the morning sun catching on the side of his face, highlighting his strong jaw and high cheekbones.

"Get yourself ready, we will have some breakfast then go back to the compound this morning. We don't want them thinking you have been abducted again now do we?" He raised an eyebrow teasingly at me.

"No, we wouldn't. That's a whole lot of drama we dont need right about now." I laughed heading to the bathroom to freshen up.

Once both fully clothed, Loki worked his magic and fixed my hair into a long flowing french braid, teasing a few hairs to hang around my face. He stood back admiring his handy work, nodding in appreciation.

"I could get used to this personal hairstylist thing you know?" I joked as I looked in the mirror.

"Just some perks of dating a God with magic my Love." He winked, "Now come, we have much to do today."

We entered the great hall, hand in hand and I felt Odin's stare upon us but I refused to make eye contact with him. Thor and Tyr where seated at his table and if I had my way we would have sat with the Warriors and Lady Sif.

"Sit with us won't you Y/N?" Odin's voice bellowed to us, "Let me introduce you to our guest."

"Oh we met last night, pretty little thing. I thought she was Thor's mate." Tyr replied.

"No. Unfortunately for him, I'm not." I cut them off, as I placed myself down between Thor and Loki, "I think I landed on my feet pretty well. Definitely no complaints on my side." I smiled at Loki giving him a cheeky wink.

Tyr laughed, holding his stomach to try and control himself. "I like her Odin. She's got a smart mouth on her."

"Indeed." Odin grumbled.

I smiled sweetly at him, just to piss him off.

Dickhead.

I heard a small laugh from Loki beside me, causing me to smirk. We got through breakfast as quickly as possible m. Once both finished we excused ourselves from the table, Thor joined us as we began to head out of the hall.

"I expect the three of you back by this evening. We have much to discuss." Odin called to us.

We turned to face him. I for one was shocked and apparently it was written all over my face.

"Do not seem surprised Y/N, after all. You play a role in defeating them too. It is only fair you should be part of the discussions. You may not like me, but I know better than anyone not to leave someone in the dark when it comes to battle plans." He nodded to me from his seat, before standing. "If we stand any chance of surviving, we need to put our differences aside and unite ourselves."

I straightened my back, stepping towards him. "I'm not the one you need to make your peace with Odin, you claim to be the all knowing one. Yet here you are extending an olive branch to the wrong person. Perhaps you can grow a set of balls by the time we come back and apologise to the person you did wrong here."
