~~Gerard's POV~~

Gerard was chilling with Frank when he brought up the topic of Mikey.

"Hey, speaking of Mikey- don't you think he's been acting weird lately?" Frank asked. Now that he thinks about it, Mikey has been more distant lately.

"Yeah. Wanna come with me to ask him about it?"

"No, I think we should just let him work it out." Frank said and Gerard nodded. But Gerard was gonna go ask Mikey about it because he was concerned for his well being.

~~Time Skip~~

Gerard knocked on Mikey's bedroom door, hearing a muffled come in. He walked in and sat down behind Mikey on his bed since Mikey was working on something at his desk.

"So," Gerard said trying to find the right words. "I have noticed that you have been really distant lately."

Mikey stopped typing on his computer and turned around. "Yeah?"

"And I am very concerned because you haven't been like this before and I would like to talk about it."

"Oh, it's really nothing. I've just not been getting enough sleep and I've been focusing on trying to stay awake that I haven't been focusing on everything around me." Mikey said.

Gerard didn't see anything wrong with that but he still felt like he wasn't saying something. But he didn't want to ask him about it more. "Well, if you ever need anything- I'm here." Gerard smiled and walked out.

~~Mikey's POV~~

Mikey let out a breathe. He didn't know why but he felt that his relationship with Chuck had to be a secret. I mean, he is a children icon.

Mikey just went back to typing at his computer. If Gerard or the others knew about the relationship, that would be like the end of the world for Mikey.
