Hello! Yes, I am alive. Life has been busy, and it took me 14 days to write this, but here we are.

Lots of Choni! Cheryl tries to help Toni and find a solution for her to get her laptop and lens fixed. Toni tries to work out her own feelings. Toni and Cheryl get a bit closer.

--------

Monday morning Toni and Cheryl had gotten up early and drove to campus together in the redheads car. Toni finally got to officially meet Ethel while Cheryl showered and changed for the day. They went to their classes and everything was completely normal.

Toni was glad she hadn't heard anything from Laura since their interaction in the parking lot the day before. She was trying to stay positive, finding her mood constantly changing. It was strange in a way, to not be with Laura. Sure, they had gone on breaks and broken up before, but now Toni knew the truth about everything.

She hated it.

To be let down by the person she loved most.

But this was what she really wanted. To be free from Laura. To be happy.

Toni sighed as she made her way to the bench Cheryl was sitting at. She looked in her direction, walking eagerly towards her. Cheryl had looked up, meeting Toni's gaze, a huge smile on her face.

They had practically spent every second together since Saturday night, but just being in the other woman's presence was enough for Toni Topaz.

This was happiness.

To belong to yourself, again.

"Miss me yet?" Toni asked with a grin when she stood in front of the redhead, who stood up from her seat.

"Only a little," she teased and looped her arm through Toni's as they walked to the dining hall.

----------

On Tuesday, Toni had taken her laptop to the colleges 'geek squad' as she called them. She had finally opened it Monday night to see if it was broken. The screen was cracked, but it still seemed to be working when she powered it on. She needed it for school work, so it was a necessity to get fixed.

In the meantime, she could do any and all school work at the campus library on the school's computers, and do her photo editing at the technology center where the photography and graphic design departments were. Her friends had also offered up their laptops if she needed them.

The geek squad promised it would be fixed by the end of the week, as long as nothing else was wrong with the laptop, mechanically. She was thankful and hopeful that nothing else was wrong with it.

She sat down at a computer, getting out a textbook and doing some homework that was due on Thursday. She wanted to get as much done while she was at the library, as she wouldn't be able to work on anything at home.

It was difficult to type with her cast, but she made it work. After an hour or so, she sat up straight, stretching her back and arms. The library chairs weren't the most comfortable.

A Java Hut coffee cup was suddenly sat down in front of her by a pale hand with red painted nails. The coffee shop on campus was actually really good, and Toni definitely wouldn't complain.

"Two cream, one sugar," Cheryl whispered. She kissed Toni's cheek and sat down next to her, setting her red bag on the floor and her own cup on the table.

"You remembered," Toni smiled. "Thanks, Cher."

"Anything for you, TT. What are you working on?"
