The class of 3-A were gathered together in the common room. Denki was sitting on the couch with Shinso's head in his lap. Iida and Momo were discussing the schedule for the evening outing. Coming up with time frames for how long the class should be at the arcade and the movies. Mina was talking to Hagakure about a new fashion line from BlackPink. Kirishima was talking about a new 'manly' video game that he wanted to get to Ojiro who liked the fighting style of one the players.

Mina slightly looked over and smiled a bit when she heard what Kirishima said, most likely making a mental note to get him the game.

Todoroki was standing in the corner nodding off a bit Sero standing next to him holding him up and blushing while reading a new Spanish novel. In another corner Shoji and Tokoyami were talking about a new gothic themed anime that Tokoyami was able to persuade Shoji to watch. Tsu and Uraraka were cuddled together on the couch, talking about the latest J-pop stars that Uraraka liked. Tsu was listening and giving her in-put every once in awhile, content with the happy atmosphere.

Midoriya was off to the side by himself, with a small smile. He was happy that his friends were happy. The small pang of loneliness that rang in his chest was smoothed over with his hand as he gasped quietly to try and avoid it. He didn't want to think on those things, things he could never have. He felt it best to just focus on being a hero. While Midoriya was soothing the ache in his chest, Bakugou was silently watching him from the corner on the other side of the room. His eyes never leaving Midoriya, watching every small detail. To the comfortable clothes he wore, to those disastrous red shoes he always adorned. Bakugou took in the view of Midoriya's messy curls and freckled face, he looked distressed again. Bakugou noticed that since the ending of last year, Midoriya often looked upset when he thought no one was watching.

It started off with small sad sighs and looking down even before that. Bakugou knew something was wrong with Deku. He could feel it in his being, he didn't feel right knowing something was wrong with the little nerd. Once Bakugou knew something was off with Midoriya, he couldn't let go, he had to find out what it was so he could fix it. The nerd could never fix his own problems. Without Bakugou stepping in, he knew Midoriya would just get worse.

The nerd always pushed off his own problems or tried to handle them on his own. Since the time they were little kids, no matter if it was Deku trying to keep up with Bakugou and hurting himself further by saying nothing. Or pushing himself too far and ending up falling out from exhaustion because he couldn't keep up with Bakugous pace and pushed his body too far.

Bakugou knew he had to figure it out, Deku would just get worse until he did. Judging by the ache in the nerds chest, he wanted to hurry. It was no telling if this were a physical illness the nerd tried to hide that could seriously injure or worse, take him away. Or this was something the nerd conjured up in his mind and feels guilty about or assumed the worse from overthinking over something trivial.

Bakugou's eyes followed Midoriya as he sat down next to Round face and froggy. Midoriya looked at the couple with a small smile and listened to the plans of both Iida and Momo. Jirou walked over and sat next to Momo. Momo paused for a moment and smiled, kissing Jirous cheek, happily greeting her with nervous over enthusiasm. Jirou blushed and looked down giggling slightly and turned to tall to Midoriya.

Although Jirou missed the longing and forlorn look on Deku's face, Bakugou hadn't. His eyes widened slightly, he tried to remember any other time he saw that face of the nerd. While in the moment nothing came to mind, he decided he would see if this was a one time thing or if it happened more often.

Bakugou felt nervous, did Deku like Momo or Jirou? No, the nerd hasn't fished over their quirks or brought them up in conversation with his friends. He never gazed at them or actively seemed them out. Bakugou felt some relief knowing Deku didn't like Jirou or Momo, but still felt a heavy weight in his chest. Who's to say Deku likes guys? Deku blushing at anyone means nothing, the nerd is always blushing at people, whether embarrassed or excited, his plush cheeks filled with adorable freckles typically held a cute small blush.
