Chapter nine

Morning comes and Bakugou opens his eyes. The previous day's activities coming back to mind. A blush spreads across Bakugou's face. He had Deku in his lap watching old All Might cartoons. Deku looked so cute with an Uravity pacifier and pastel bunny in his arm. Snuggled in the pastel blanket, he looked so adorable. If Bakugou could look at that face, wake up to that face everyday, he would be the happiest man alive.

With a sigh Bakugou gets out of bed, starting his day, making his bed, changing his clothes, going to the communal bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face. Going back to his room, seeing Deku's door is still closed, but muffling can be heard from the other side. Going into his dorm locking the door, Bakugou listens to what is being said from Deku's room.

"Uraraka-chan! He saw! Kacchan saw! He saw me! He knows! What? I thought I was careful! I thought no one would find out? Why him? Ohhh. He's gonna think somethings wrong with me isn't he? That i'm back to being worthless? Undeserving of being All Might's successor, that I'm not taking being a hero seriously! Ura-chan! He-he—."

Cupping  Deku's cheeks in her hand, Uraraka connects their eyes, warm brown and jittery frazzled jade eyes stare at one another. Uraraka taking a deep breathe in holding it until Deku does the same, then exhaling, Deku following suit. They continue this pattern until Deku's shoulders relax, his mind no longer running a mile a minute, but a headache is approaching. Becoming so high strung on panic nerves right after waking up taking its toll on the frightened greenette.

Moving them to sit on Deku's bed, Uraraka lets go of his face, listening intently to Deku talk about his time with Bakugou. To her it sounds like Bakugou had no problem with Deku being like this. If he had he would've gotten one of Deku's friends to take over. Instead he stayed with Deku, found something for the two to do together and waited until Deku fell asleep. To her, Bakugou's crush on Deku was obvious. The man was hopelessly in love with Deku, something everyone but Deku saw.

Honestly it was kind of cute. Deku being in love with Bakugou as well but not wanting to ruin their friendship. A friendship that should have been flourished but the two idiots kept dancing around the subject.

With a huff, Uraraka decides then and there that Izuku and Katsuki will get together before the end of the school year. She'll have to get Kirishima involved, plan a way for the two numbskulls to get together. But first she has a nervous rabbit to calm down.

"Deku-kun, to me it sounds like Bakugou doesn't mind. We both know if he didn't want to do it, he wouldn't. I think he's okay with it."

A frown mares Deku's face. The green rabbit looking deep in thought before a sad pout falls on his face.

"I think you're right Ura-chan. But what if Kacchan is only doing this out of guilt? I don't want him to feel obligated to help me." A blush blossoms on Deku's face as he says the next sentence.

"I want him to do it because I want him to want to. Not out of debt."

Twiddling his thumbs, Deku looks anywhere but at Uraraka, blush spreading on his cheeks. Uraraka smiles, she can't wait to say she got the wonderduo together. Best friend bragging rights anyone?

With Deku calming down and Uraraka standing, having to leave to get ready for class, she tells Deku to do the same. Patting his hand, walking out of the room.

Standing, Deku begins to get ready for class, putting his clothes on and grabbing his bathing supplies, walking to the communal bathroom. Washing his face and putting seed oil and leave-in conditioner in his hair, after wetting it. Brushing his teeth Deku goes back to his room, grabbing his backpack and heading to class.

Sitting behind Kacchan is nerve wracking. Calm demeanor in place, Kacchan pays him no attention. So Deku figures he should as too. But his mind always wanders back to Kacchan. Wondering what he was thinking, if he was judging him, if Kacchan thought less of him. It made Deku anxious all over again, except this time he had to calm down himself. He couldn't rely on Uraraka-chan to help him, he had to pay attention, he had to be a big boy and learn how to be a hero.
