The adventures of Dynamite and his Bunny

Chapter three

( contains spoilers from the recent bnha chapter  and other chapters )

It was early in the morning when Bakugou awoke. He laid in bed, rubbing his eyes, standing up and cleaning his bed. While he had a decent nights sleep, his mind was still on Deku.

Deku looked so odd and distracted last night. Although this was usual for the little nerd, it was different. Deku never has a look longing for affection. He's always had an ambitious longing, to be a hero, to save others, to make One for All his own power. But he's never had an affectionate longing. At least not one that Bakugou has seen.

Bakugou goes to his closet and grabs his bathroom materials. He grabs black jogging pants and a black tank top and jacket. He heads to the communal bathroom and starts to clean himself inside the shower. Brushing his teeth and washing his body he thinks over what he can about Deku.

' The nerd was dazed when he looked at the man in the movie. So comfort is something he's longing for. After all the things we've been through in the past three years, it's definitely not surprising. Deku usually avoids things that could possibly help him mentally and emotionally. The only help he ever accepts is towards his quirk.'

This was true thinking back to the time Deku ran away with All Might and was helping the heroes search for All for One and Shigaraki, he remembers how they all had to fight to get him to come back. Deku proved that he really did make One for All his quirk being able to hold his own and more against his class when he was so exhausted and wasn't even really trying.

Bakugou frowns at the memory. He had so much he wanted to say to Deku, but Bakugou has never been very good at expressing his emotions. While he always knows what he is feeling, after awhile that is. He's never been very good at expressing them, years of keeping his emotions to himself and growing up with a Mother who was bad at emotions herself and a father that was easy to silence. He didn't have a lot of figures to look toward in the emotions department. But thanks to Kirishima and even Deku, although he doesn't want to think on it or admit it, and his friends in class 3-A, he's had a lot of growth and help.

Sighing he turns off the shower and dries off putting his clothes on. He gathers his bathing materials and heads back to his room, drying his hair along the way. He closed his bedroom door behind him quietly.

He sets his bathing materials back in its spot and walks over to his bed. He puts his phone on the charger and sees it reads 8:30 a.m.

Bakugou thinks once again, ' I should have told him all the things I wanted to say. I should have shown him how sorry I am for the things I did to him. This is our last year at U.A. If he leaves off somewhere else, what excuse do I have to follow him?'

Bakugou let's his eyes turn to look at the wall, on the other side is Midoriya's bedroom.

' Deku has always followed me, always been behind me. We walk together on equal paths now, but for how long? He was ahead of me when he ran away and I ran to catch up to him. I don't want him out of my sight again.'

Deep down Bakugou knows, Midoriya's drive to be a hero is because he wants to help people, he doesn't want anyone to feel sad like he did. He wants to help people, while Bakugou now wants to help people. Deku has always been his reason to being a hero.

When they were kids, ' Kacchan, All Might is so cool, Sugoi.' In his mind as a child he saw the admiration in Dekus eyes and he wanted that look on him.
Bakugou liked All Might and how he always wins, how he always beats the bad guys. But his like for All Might dwindled when he learned of him giving Deku a quirk that hurt him, that caused All for One and Shigaraki to come after him. That out Deku in danger. While he knew Deku would be miserable not being a hero, he knows that he would be a bit safer. Not in immediate danger but with no quirk, Deku would be easy to hurt or kill if he came across a villain.
