----------------------July 15th------------------------

Stonesworth Graveyard, Musutafu.

Katsuki got out of the car at around noon, roses in hand and his parents following closely behind each holding a flower of their own.

As they walked through the graveyard looking at each unkept stone in turn, some crumbling with age they say nothing. They keep walking until they reach another headstone this one however looks fairly new and reads a name that's familiar to the Bakugou family.

They also see a plump green haired woman sitting in front of it and crying. She carries a notebook with her, a book that reads Hero Notebook No.2

She'd been bringing them each year on this mournful day. When she feels the presence of the people behind her she turns to look at them and they can see the tears streaming down her face, and her red puffy eyes.

They don't say anything to each other, the amount of pain they feel each year they stand at this grave is not one that's able to be communicated through words, only through understanding.

Katuski looked up at his parents and saw they both had tears actively falling as well. He was crying as well, the only time he'd ever let himself break in front of anyone would be on this day and the day the boy died for the past two years.

He walked up to the grave and set down his roses, next to the hero notebook, a separate rose that was already set there, and the face of a smiling green haired boy.

"Happy Birthday Izuku" he murmurs, quiet and almost inaudible and you can here the crack of heartbreak and regret as he does so.

His parents set down they're flowers as well also saying happy birthday to Izuku and then they all stayed there in silence for a while, the only thing you could hear was crying from everyone there and eventually the rain as it began to lightly fall all around the mourning people all huddled together.

None of them noticed the green haired, green eyed dead boy that watches them from behind his gravestone.

Nobody sees the ghost crack a sad yet happy smile

And nobody hears him say a quiet "thank you, I love and miss all of you" to everybody that came to wish him a happy birthday, even though he was (technically) in the afterlife and "lives" as a ghost
