I was sitting on my living room while my mother did the dishes.

"Can I help?" I asked.

"Uh, sure." She said and unfolded the rubber gloves.

"Thank you." My mother smiled.

"No problem."

Then, she headed up to her desk upstairs. I heard tapping on my windowsill and saw Subin.

"Not now." I mouthed.

He frowned. Then he sat down on the grass behind my garden. When I was done, I opened the glass sliding door.

"Can we talk outside?" I asked.

"Yeah." Subin said.

I closed the glass sliding door quietly.

"What's going on?" I asked and closed the door.

"My family's forcing me to merry some woman." He said, glumly.

I was silent. I didn't know what to do. I thought for a second.

"How about we run away?" I asked and then I realized that was a pretty stupid idea.

Subin opened his mouth and then closed it.

"I mean, if you're comfortable about it, yes. But, I won't force you to do it." He said.

I thought for a wile. I mean, I would have to bring my tooth brush and toothpaste and my skin stuff. And plus, my medicine.

I sighed.

"Okay, I'll runaway with you. I just have to pack my things."

Subin widened his eyes. Then he nodded.

"We'll leave at midnight." He said.

It was 11:35PM currently.

I packed my face wash, face lotion, body lotion, phone, a razor, my charger, and my makeup stuff.

Then, I wrote a note to my mother.

"I'm sorry mother, I'm running away with my partner. Please don't be sad. Love you."

"Already?" Subin asked.

"Yeah, I just need a moment." I said, and turned my head away from him.

I almost cried.

It was my mother that I'm running away from. You might think, "What a horrible person I am."

"Yeah," I sniffed and wiped my eyes, "ah, I'm gonna ruin my eye makeup." I laughed bitterly.

Subin smiled.

"Come on, I'll hold your hand like before." He said.

He held my hand and I was pretty sleepy now.

I checked on my phone.

"1:23AM."

"Can we find a motel near by if we find one?" I asked.

"For sure, I'm pretty tired as well." Subin said and touched his neck.

I checked on my phone and searched for any motels.

"There's a motel called, 'Gyeongbokgung Palace.' It's only $40 a night." I said.

Subin looked up.

"Or, there's a really cheap motel called..." I was looking on my phone.

I had a couple of options.

"Bangood 5Cascade Lateau, Hotel Reservation, Seoul Travel Guide, Postcard Deoksugung De Luce Hotel."

"Let's just do the cheapest one, called 'Postcard Deoksugung De Luxe Hotel.'" I said.

Subin nodded.

He was probably really tired like I was.

Then, I saw some lights illuminated by a city.

"I think this is Postcard Deoksugung De Luxe Hotel." I said and cracked my neck.

We walked in silence, until I saw lights from a motel.

Thank God...

"Come on, let's go check in this place." Subin said.

I nodded.

There was this guy sleeping on the desk in front of piles of papers.

"Um, excuse me." I said, softly.

"Oh, I think I know this guy." Subin said and rolled up his sleeves.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"You'll see." He smiled wickedly.

Then, he pinched the guy's arm, painfully.

"Ahh, I'm up, geez. Wait. Subin hyung?" He frowned and furrowed his eyebrows.

"Sup Taehyun." Subin grinned.

"Hi Hyung," he yawned, "ooo, who's the girl?"

"Um, my name is Sujung." I said.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Taehyun." He said and stretched his arms.

"So, do you have two beds by the chance?" Subin asked.

"Hmm, I can check for you. Hold on." He said and disappeared.

I looked at the place. It was a nice hotel to be honest.

"So, I don't have two beds available unfortunately. Can your partner share a room together?" Taehyun asked.

"Yes." Subin said.

"Alright, I'll show you to your room then. C'mon." He said.

The lights in this place hurt my eyes. Or maybe I was just really tired.

"Here you go. Goodnight!" Taehyun slowly closed the dark door.

We sighed and I went to the bathroom.

"I'm going to brush my teeth and wash my face." I said.

"Yeah, that's fine. I'll wait for you." Subin said.

Then, I closed the bathroom door and I brushed my teeth and washed my face and changed into my pajamas.

When I was done, Subin was still sitting on the bed.

"Okay, it's your turn." I said, walking towards the bathroom.

Subin smiled.

Then, he went to the bathroom to get ready as well.

I was so sleepy.

"Ah..." I said and lay down on the right side.

I was already asleep when Subin opened the bathroom door. He lay down beside me on the left side of the bed and he closed his eyes.
