My Crazy Life and all Who Inhabit It

Choices.......ugh

So at school I signed up for something called Envirothon but I was also in band so i had to be in that class too.

Well it was all working out: mon,wed,fri i would be in Envirothon then tues,thurs i would be in band. Now this arrangement went well for about a 3 weeks cause of snow days and me being sick (more on this later).

Here was the hard part both competitions ended up on the same exact day but they were at different times. The band competition or MPA was in the morning and Envirothon was in the afternoon. The only problem was that one is in Lenoir and the other is in Wilksboro and i had no ride.

So here were my choices:

I could A) eat breakfast at McDonalds, go to Envirothon, take like 5 tests, and eat pizza or B) go to MPA, and eat at Golden Corral. Well we all know which one I chose so I am skipping out on Envirothon. Sorry to all the wonderful people of Bri_Lace_Jase_Zace . I wish i could be there but mommas stuffing her face with cotton candy and ice-cream.

Ok so back to the snow days and me being sick.

So a few weeks ago i think it was the last two weeks in February we were out of school for snow. We went to school on both Mondays then the rest of the weeks we were out. It is now the second week of March and sadly the spring is coming. The biggest reason i know is that there is a creek behind my neighbors house and the stupid spring peepers are making noises.

Now a week or two before we were out for snow i go strep throat and it hurt for about a week. I didn't run a fever though it was weird. So my
Mom took me to urgent care to see what was wrong. They then tested me for strep and the flu. I thought that the strep test was the worst cause I've never been tested for the flu so i did that one first. Let me tell you when that women tested me for the flu I'm pretty sure she touched my brain through my nose it hurt so bad.

The doctor ended up giving me 3 medicines to take and he said i could go to school the next day (we went to urgent care on Sunday). Well Monday came around and i had gotten worse so mom let me stay home. Then Tuesday came and I was still messed up so i stayed home again. Well i was finally feeling better Wednesday so i went to school.

The weird thing about all of this is that I don't get sick like at all. This is the first time I've gotten strep and I'm 14. Ive never had it so thats why we didn't know what was wrong with me.

But its only me and my dad that don't get sick often. Like my mom and sister can both have like a really contagious cold and me and my dad have to be around them but we don't get sick. Its really weird.
