Laufeyson

Chapter 1

A shining light fell from the sky hitting Jotenhiem. The bifrost opened and Asgardian guards stepped out.

The guards had been sent on a mission search for stolen artifacts inside of Laufeys icy home planet.

They entered the frozen planet and drawn their weapons ready if there were to be an ambush.

The lead guard gestured for them to break up and search. One group went closer to the icy plain while the other two went to check near the frost giants chambers.

Once they were clear of no frost giants one of the groups went into the chambers.

Avoiding any frost giants by hiding in the shadows and behind the large architecture they made their way deeper into the chambers.

They checked each room for the artifacts, but found nothing but the cold nipping at their noses.

As they neared the last chamber a noise startled them. They froze and listened to find that the noise came from the final chamber.

They got ready to fight or protect themselves as they came to open the doors. Opening the doors to find rows of dark prison cells.

As they walked into the dungeon, they noticed the cold empty cells with bones inside. They soon neared the final cell and saw a figure inside.

It stirred from the corner it sat in. The guards seemed to take note that the figure hadn't noticed them yet.

One of the five guards picked the lock and opened the door to the cell. The figure snapped its head up quickly to see who was in their cell.

The guards saw the figure better now. It was a frost giant. Only he wasn't so giant.

He had shoulder length raven hair, red eyes, blue skin(of course)and was only wearing a cloth around his waist to hide his privates. He also seemed to be about 6 years old.

He looked around at each guard quickly with fear in his eyes.

"Do you think Allfather should see this?" One of the guards spoke and the others nodded.

One reached into his armor and pulled out shackles. As the guards walked closer to the frost giant he tried making himself as small as possible.

They grabbed him and put the shackles on his neck and wrists.

The small frost giant didn't struggle, he seemed to be petrified and unable to comprehend what was really happening.

They exited the chambers and snuck their way out of the whole architecture. The guards saw the other two groups waiting at their rondevu place.

"Find any artifacts?" One guard asked the other two groups. One group nodded and the others didn't.

"Well we found this deep within the dungeons." The guard said gesturing to the frost giant.

"Why's he so small?" One guard asked.

"I don't know? You think he's like a baby do you?" Another guard questioned.

"No I've seen what the baby's look like, this ones probably a runt." The head guard exclaimed.

They then asked Heimdall to bring them back and they arrived in Asgard shortly after being brought back from the Bifrost.

Most of the guards went to place the artifacts back where they belong while the rest took the frost giant to Odin.

They entered the throne room and saw their allfather sitting on his throne speaking to the queen.

"My king. We have found this frost giant imprisoned on jotenhiem." One guard said while bowing to Odin.

Odin and Frigga turned to see the guards with a frost giant chained up. He was looking around with an afraid expression. He was also rubbing his wrists where the shackles were rubbing against his blue skin.

"Why were you imprisoned?" Odin asked the frost giant.

The frost giant didn't respond but looked up at Odin with fear.

"Speak." Odin ordered. The frost giant flinched at Odins loud voice and Frigga placed a hand on odins shoulder.

"Dear, please. Your scaring him." Frigga said gently.

"Why were you imprisoned?" Odin asked again more soft.

"I-I-I'm a runt." He said quietly.

Odin looked the frost giant up and down then waved the guards to take him away.

"Put him in the dungeons." Odin said and the guards obeyed their king and dragged the frost giant away.

They brought him into the dungeons and put him in one of the many cells with a golden barrier.

As the guards left the frost giant looked around at the clean white cell. He then walked to the golden barrier and looked out at the rest of the cells to find no other prisoners inside them.

He walked over to a corner of his cell and sat down. He pulled his knees close to his chest and cried himself to sleep.

After awhile he was awaken by footsteps coming into the dungeons.

He opened his eyes and looked to see who it was.

At the other side of the golden barrier stood the  Queen, Frigga.

"Hello, I'm not here to hurt you." She said gently and then took down the golden barrier and stepped into his cell.

He looked her over with a weary look and still had fear in his eyes.

"Please, don't be afraid. I brought you food." Frigga said sitting down next to the frost giant.

She smiled and placed a plate full of food down.

He eyed the food and then a small rumble came from his stomach.

"Go on you can eat it. It's for you." Frigga exclaimed and the frost giant grabbed a piece of chicken and ate it slowly.

After he finished Frigga looked at him with a small smile.

"Do you have a name?" She asked calmly.

He shook his head and looked down at his feet.

"Would you like a name?" Frigga asked.

The frost giant nodded and Frigga smiled.

She thought awhile then said, "How about Loki?"

"L-l-Loki." The frost giant stuttered then smiled.

"Good, you like it. Now I have to get going. Would you want me to get you some books?" Frigga questioned and Loki nodded giving a small smile.

"See you later Loki." Frigga said stepping out of the cell and putting the golden barrier back up.

Loki smiled to himself and grabbed an apple slice off of the plate in front of him.

"Loki." He said his name out loud and smiled again then took a bite of the apple.
