Loki rode along side his brother and his friends across the rainbow bridge to the Bifrost where Heimdall stood.

Thor had begged them to tag along to aid him in his journey. Loki had no idea where they were going or what they were going to do.

"Heimdall!" Thor greeted the tall man. Heimdalls golden eyes peered down.

"Your highness" he replied, "are you still wishing to visit the realm we discussed earlier.

Thor laughed and nodded, "of course!"

Heimdall walked over and before placing his sword into the portal he glanced at Loki for a split second.

"I'll be watching," he said calmly before placing the sword in and lighting filled the room as the Bifrost opened.

The group went into the portal and in a second they were transported. The land was cold and the wind nipped their faces.

Lokis heart froze, it was Jotenhiem. As they all dismounted from their horses Lokis stormed over to Thor.

He grabbed him by the arm and pulled him aside, "What, are we doing here?!" His voice shook with fear and anger.

"I thought it would be fun to sneak around and maybe find a sleeping frost giant," Thor laughed but Lokis face remained fearful.

"I can't be here! What if they find out!" He hissed and his brow furrowed.

"Ah! Brother no need to worry! I'll protect you," he laughed once more before shouldering Loki and walking towards his friends.

They walked their horses across the barren land of ice. Nothing for miles besides the cliffs of glaciers on the horizon.

Shortly they arrived at a ravine near some cliffs. Thor peered down the ravine before kicking some rocks down.

"Ah, nothing," he frowned as him, Fandral, and Sif began looking around. Loki huffed in annoyance as he playing his a dagger as he stood watching his brother joke around with his friends.

A shout came from Thor and the ground almost felt like it shook. Loki looked over to see a small group of Frost giants emerge from the ravine and engaging in battle with Thor Sif and the warriors three.

Loki broke into a run to his brother dagger flying out as he began casting projection spells to distract the blue skin and red eyes Jotuns.

As the fight ensued Loki got stuck fighting a Jotun five times his size. At this point Lokis daggers were gone. The jotun swung down to Loki grabbing him.

Fear filled the little frost giants eyes as he became blue from the giant jotuns touch.

Lokis eyes flashed up quickly as he summoned a sword and swung it, slicing the giants hand.

Running towards his horse Loki quickly mounted and yelled to Thor and the others. They all mounted and quickly rode away as Thor called upon the Bifrost to take them home.

In a flash the Bifrost came crashing down and lifting them back to Asgard.

On the ride back to the palace Thor, Sif and the warriors three were laughing as they rode ahead. While Loki rode behind them scowling the whole way back.

After they dropped the horses of at the stables Thor parted ways with his friends.

Loki stormed past Thor towards his chambers. But he could hear Thor running up behind him.

"Brother! Oh come on it was fun you gotta admit!"

"Nothing was fun about that Thor!" Loki swung open the chamber doors and Thor followed him in.

"You have to say it was pretty fun," Thor exclaimed.

Loki felt tears brimming his eyes, "No! Being in danger is not fun! Sif and the rest could have figured me out!" He yelled shoving up his sleeve to show his blue skin starting to appear.

He felt the spell concealing his Jotun skin starting to fade as his emotions grew.

"The frost giants could have noticed me and killed me! Nothing is fun about returning to my home planet where they wished to have me killed for being to small!" Loki huffed his whole body was blue and his eyes red.

Thor was now facing Loki with his back to the window. Loki stood with his back to the door.

"I didn't mean for you to get hurt brother," Thor says.

"Hurt? You think I'm hurt by this? It makes me fell angry Thor! It makes me feel that you don't care for me! It makes me believe you didn't think of the danger I would be in!"

"Loki, just calm down," Thors deep voice said.

"No!" Loki snaps as he turns around to face away from his brother to see Sif walk right in.

Her eyes go wide as she looks him up and down. She draws her sword and yells, "Frost Giant!"

She bolts towards Loki catching him by surprise.

A sting cuts through the young princes body. It moves all in slow motions. Sif pulls her sword from where it's lodged in Lokis torso and the worst pain fills his body as it collides with the floor.

Thor yells at Sif as he grabs his brother in his arms and pulls him close.

Hot sticky blood covers Lokis body as it begins to drain. His eyes filled with tears begin to spill.

"I got you, it's okay, I got you brother."

Loki looked up to his brother and his glowing golden hair. Thors blue eyes welled with tears, "I'm so sorry,"

"Don't be," Loki said as he focused all his power to put the concealing spell back on.

"I just wanted to be like you," Loki said quietly.

"You were better than I could ever be," Thor replied.

Loki whispered once more as his body faded the life leaving, "brother..."
