It was early morning in Asgard, the golden sun just started peaking over the horizon as Loki walked out onto the training courtyard.

He grabbed a silver sword off of the weaponry. Loki knew he was better with daggers but he had to learn to use a sword one way or another.

For an hour he swung uselessly at a wooden pole. He hands were blistered and raw from the swords handle.

And then he heard someone, "You know your doing it all wrong."

He turned to see Sif entering the courtyard. She grabbed a similar silver sword and sauntered over to Loki.

She pointed with her free hand, "Pretend your standing on a square with your front foot in one corner and your back in the opposite corner."

Loki looked down and shifted his feet. She then continued.

"Now have your back straight. All of your weight should be evenly in your feet, along with having your knees slightly bent." She corrected the black haired prince.

Loki changed his position and held his sword ready to fight. Sif got into her stance and swung at him.

He parried his sword against hers.

They went for about an hour, Sif interrupted many times to correct Lokis technique.

"Why are you helping me?" Loki questioned the girl. She shrugged.

"It's embarrassing to watch you struggle. And don't think I'm doing this to be your friend" Sif laughed and walked away leaving Loki alone.
