Remus POV
*beep beep beep* my alarm goes off for 5:00am. I sit up and climb down the ladder cause Ro's still sleeping in the bottom bunk.
I shower, take my meds, get dressed, and grab some breakfast.
Today's Remy and I's first day at this new school. This is gonna suck. I finish my toast and put on my running shoes. I walk out the door while closing it quietly behind me as to not wake anyone up.
I start my run down the road.
Soon I get to this nice neighborhood again. It's so peaceful and quiet.
Yeah where we live is nice but this is just beautiful.
I run past the Storms house and see one of the Mrs. Storms watering her garden. I wave and she waves back and starts walking down the driveway to see me. I stop running and put my hands behind my head to catch my breath. I walk up to her.
"Remus dear how are you?" She says giving me a hug.
"I'm ok. Little nervous. This is my first day at school." I say with a nervous smile.
"Oh yes Virgil told me. The boys love hanging out with you two." She says nudging my arm trying to insinuate something. I play dumb as to not embarrass the 2.
"We like hanging out with them too. We became very good friends in the short time we've known them." I say with a chuckle.
She smiles softly.
"Hey ma! Are we out of cereal?!" I hear a familiar voice yell from the front door.
I look up and see Dante with his fluffy, messy hair and sparkling mismatched eyes. I feel the heat rise to my face a bit.
Dante POV
"Hey ma! Are we out of cereal?!" I yell as I step out the door where I usually find my mom in the garden. I look up and see mom talking to a man talking to Ma.
They both look over at me when I yell. I realize it's Remus. He's got a hat on with his hoodie over it. I see a small blush rise to his face as he turns his head away from me.
He's cute.
"Morning Ree!!" I yell out and his head snaps back to me.
"G-goodmorning..!" He yells back nervously.
"I should get going. I'll see you in a half hour!" He yells waving. Giving Ma a quick hug as he leaves.
Ma walks over to me.
"He's a good one. Don't scare him off." Ma says as she walks inside.
That's weird. Ma never likes any of my guy friends I mean besides Patton. Logan she's still on the fence about.
But why him? She's talked to him once?
Time skip
Roman POV
"You ready for this?" I say and Remus fidgets with a bracelet he's wearing.
"Yup!" He says with a smile. He's excited but I can tell he's nervous.
We walk through the doors to school and head to the office.
Since I'm so new I can't give Remus a tour so a member of the red key club has to. The principal asked us to go to the office before the first day of Remus' first day. We get to the office and see Remy sipping on a giant coffee while scrolling through his phone.
"Hey Rem!" Remus says and walks over to him. Remy looks up at him and they do they're cool handshake.
Remy waves to me.
"Ah Remy and Remus. I see you two know each other." The principal comes out of his office says.
"Yes sir we went to school together." Remy says to him.
"Perfect. Let me introduce you to the two members of the red key club that will go to all your classes with you for the day." The principal says and turns towards the door.
Emile and Janus walks in.
"Mr. Kingsley and Mr. Mourning this is Dante Storm and Emile Picani. Gentlemen please say hello to your new classmates." The principal says.

There was a silence through the room for a moment until Remus stuck out his hand to Dante.
Roman left the room seeing there was no need for him to be there.
"Remus. It's nice to meet you." Remus says with a smirk.
Dante smirks back and shakes his hand.
"Dante. You too." He says with nice handshake.
Remy looks at Emile. The smaller boy refuses to look at Remy in the eye.
Remy holds out his hand and Emile takes it timidly.
"Remy Mourning. It's a pleasure to meet you." Remy says politely.
"Emile. Likewise." Emile says quick and quietly as to avoid more interaction than needed.
"Thank you boys you may go with them to their home rooms." The principal says in a professional tone of voice.
Emile POV
why him?
What did it have to be him?!
It couldn't have been anyone else??!
Why god? WHY?!
"My home room is in 230, so does that mean it's on the 2nd floor since it's in the 200?" Remy asks looking at his school guide.
"W-what umm yes. This way is the closest stairway." I say walking towards the east stairwell.
"Soooo your my buddy for the day? That's exciting!" Remy says.
I stop in my tracks at that sentence. I turn to him.
"Look, I don't want to be your friend. You stopped me from getting everything I wanted and I'll never forgive you for that. I don't care that I was you 8th damsel in distress you saved! I didn't want to be saved!! Now I'm under maximum security watch at home and here, THANKS TO YOU! I'm doing this because it's an obligation as a member of the red key club member." I finish my statement and he flips his sunglasses up over his head to show me his eyes. I turn back around and start walking again.
"Come on we're gonna be late for home room." I mumble to him as we walk to class.
