Chapter 1 Life
Ring Ring Ring, my phone rang. I checked the caller i.d.: Lacey Smith. i was happy to know she wanted to talk. Lacey and I had a huge fight over pizza. Yeah, pizza. Dumb. All i wanted was half cheese and half whatever she wanted, then she snapped like a twig. She yelled and screamed at me for about 5 minutes before i called my brother, Pete, to pick me up from Lacey's house.
I picked up my phone.
"Jello, who is it?" I asked
" It's Lacey. Look, i'm sorry about what happened. I got mad at my mom, and took it all out on you." Lacey said.
"It's fine. Do you want to come over later for some movies and pop corn?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'll be over in a minute. Thanks, Brooke, like, a lot." Said Lacey.
Lacey was at my house in five minutes, and we were laughing like we had never been mad at each other.
Tomorrow was the first day of eighth grade. At least I would have a friend to start the year with, and hopefully finish it with. Hopefully, I really hope so.
