It was another night in Kamurocho chilly after some rain, kiryu walking down to the bars in champagne district. " What am I even doing with my life" I think to myself " the nights are just getting lonelier, I can't just keep hitting the guys up for drinks, they have lives too" I release deep sigh "guess it can't be helped" I whisper to my self as I stop to pull out my phone. A sudden commotion happens, I look over to see a young girl surrounded by three guys. " I told you I'm not going anywhere with you!" The woman shouts " aww come on it'll be fun, we can show you how a woman should be treated" one of the dudes says as the circle around her to corner her. "Tch the punks never take no for an answer...I should probably stop them before it escalates" walking over to them irritated "aye the woman said no, now beat it" I say, one of them turn around as the others keep trying to grab at her to take her with them "get lost old man this doesn't concern you!" One of the punks shouts as I get closer " I said get lost before I make you regret staying" I said more irritated when suddenly they all look towards my way the young woman punches on of them straight in the jaw "I said no!" The other two guys just are shocked, they must of never had a woman ever fight back before, i slam one of their heads in the wall and turn punch the last one down " do I need to keep going or do I need to beat some more sense into you?" I asked what seemed to be the "leader" as he looked up at me from the ground. "N-no we got the m-message loud and clear!" All three of them took off running, I heard on of them say something along the lines of "no bitch is worth dying over" I scowled looking their way "you shouldn't talk about women that way...but I should check to see if she's okay" I turn around to ask her "hey, you alright?" I asked her as she looked up at me clearly annoyed " I could of handled them myself you know" she said "yup she's fine...must still be worked up over them" I thought "just be more careful around here at night... also, nice punch" I said to her as I turned away to head towards the bar. "W-wait...let me thank you mister" she said I stoped and turned around confused "thank me for what? You said you could of taken them" I said " w-well yeah but...let me just buy you a drink at least" she pleaded "no thanks needed, seems like you could of handled yourself with that right hook of yours, take care" I continued to talk as I heard her say thank you. "Damn, I'm never gonna hear the end of it if the guys found out a pretty girl wanted to be ME a drink" I thought as I pulled out my phone texting them to hurry up, "been waitin on you kiryu-San" the message said from akiyama. "Damn they beat me to it" I said as I pulled the door open to the bar and walked in. "Ayyyeee kiryu-San" akiyama and saejima said in unison "you gotta catch up man we already a few drinks in" the said as I sat down " sorry got caught up with something" i say as the bartender places my drink in front of me. "Oh!? With what a girl?!" Akiyama says with a smirk, I chuckle and say " yeah you could say that" the both looked at me shocked since akiyama was only joking "oh.. well what's her name?" He asked, "don't know I only stoped some punks with ill intentions" I said after having a gulp of my drink knowing that's not what he wanted to hear, "ugh typical kiryu-San bustin heads" akiyama said with a sigh of grief. " you know kiryu-San you can't stay single forever, I swear all the ladies at the carbet clubs love you, I'm sure one of them would date you" saejima says I finish my drink and order another one, " you know kiryu-San just waitin for the right girl saejima-San" he says with a sigh as saejima chuckles " you know we ain't gettin any younger right" saejima says as he orders another, "I guess they're right maybe I should of let her buy me that drink" I thought as I looked down at my drink before chugging the whole thing " h-hey kiryu-San don't take that to heart we just bustin your balls" akiyama says concerned as saejima chuckles "he knows that you were the one who told him to catch up" he says as he pats him on the back. We all just spent the rest of the night drinking,smoking, laughing and poking jokes at each other. But I still couldn't get that woman from earlier off my mind, she was amazing, that right hook of hers...truly amazing. We all paid our tabs and went out separate ways for the night. I stood by a lamp post and light up a cigarette looking at my blog before heading my way home. "Oh someone wrote an article about some pretty cool fighting techniques they saw the other day, could be useful." I finished my cigarette and started my walk home when I heard footsteps coming near me, and fast! I turned around as fast as I could but it was to late, I fell over onto the ground with the person who was running on my chest.
