Y/n's POV
I was scrolling through Instagram, like some fan post about me and Hailee being close to each other because I was a side character in the cast of Dickinson season 3. I must say, me and Hailee are quite close together in the cast. We hangout sometimes and we post pictures on each other's Instagram. I have about 8 more hours of freedom before heading to the red carpet event for the Grammys. While I was scrolling, Hailee texted me

(Hailee, Y/n)
Hey Y/n, do you want to go to the red carpet event as my date? If not then it's ok.
Sure I do. By the way, why did you asked me?
Oh, I just felt a bit weird when I go with someone else, but with you I'm more comfortable. Does that bother you?
Of course not. Well you better get ready, I heard that you need a lot of time to prepare. See ya later, my date ;)
See ya later too, my gorgeous date ;)

I smiled at the text, we would always flirt each other, it's a shame that we aren't a couple. I liked her since I stepped into the acting world. She's just perfect, the way she smiles, the way she treat people, the way how illegally gorgeous she is. Everything about her is just perfect, why would she like someone like me. I sighed and wiped away my thoughts, I started to prepare for the red carpet event. I decided since I'm going with Hailee, I'll put less makeup, just enough for my cheeks to be bright and a bit pink, make my lips look naturally red. It took a bout an hour. I went to my closet, looking through to choose my outfit for tonight. I decided to choose a green suit.

I wore it on and started to do my hair. I just curl it up at the tip. I sprayed lavender scented perfume since last time Hailee said she loved the smell of it. It was 4 hours until the red carpet event so I decided to take a pic of me at the mirror. (Just use imagination on this one)

"Just finished preparing for the red carpet event. Waiting for my date to appear, oh wait that's you ;)"

After I'm satisfied with the captions, I uploaded it. Just 3 seconds later, 2 notifications appeared. "haileesteinfeld liked your photo." "haileesteinfeld had comment on your post." I smiled and pressed on the notification. "I'll be honored to be your date ;)" I smiled again at her comment, she really knows how to make people obsessed with her. Fast foward til there's one hour before the red carpet event. I texted Hailee

Hey, can I come over to your place now?
Sure, I'll be waiting ;)

I smiled and headed to the garage. I drive to her house and park near her gate. I walked inside and the butler welcomed me. I was wandering around then a familiar voice said "I'm here." I turned my head to the staircase and saw Hailee leaning on the wall. She was wearing a red dress just like the one she wore in Dickinson season 1.

I smiled and walked over to her. "What a coincidence, we wear red and green just like the color of a rose." She said. "I'm willing to be the spikes to protect you from anyone else, my beauty." I flirted and kissed on her hand which made her blush slightly. "Let's go, shall we?" I asked and she nodded. We headed to my car and I drove us to the red carpet event. As soon as we step out of the car, cameras from paparazzies are flashing. I held her waist and led her inside. As we're inside, paparazzies are taking pictures and interviewers are asking question. "Is Y/n going as your date, Hailee?" An interviewer asked. "Yes, she is." She answered and another interviewer asked "Are you two dating?" "Unfortunately, we can't say anything about our love life." I answered. We were asked a loads more of questions. We then took pictures with other celebrities, took more pictures of ourselves. Fast forward when they're about to announce the Best Nominee Actress, me and Hailee hold each other hands tightly. I was nominated for that award but I don't have high hopes much but I hope I win. They opened the envelope then said "The Best Nominee Actress goes to-" They looked at the envelope again and then continued "-Y/n Y/l/n!" I was shocked, I can't process what's happening. Hailee was hugging me tightly, congratulating me and telling me to go. I stood up and walked up to the stage, greeting every person I passed by. They handed me the award and let me stand behind the mic. "Well, I didn't expect to win an award so I didn't prepare a speech. Uh...thank you to the cast of Dickinson, I really appreciate that all of you helped me with my acting, thank you to everyone who supported me, I love you all. And most important of all, thank you Hailee you really stayed by my side and helped me all the way, I couldn't be luckier, I'm so greatful and I love you. I love everyone that helped me through all of this. Thank you." I finished and walked backstage seeing Hailee ran to me and hugged me. I hugged her back then she asked "So do you mean it?" I'm confused for a little and asked "Mean what?" "That you love me?" She whispered into my ear. "Y-yes." I stuttered. "That's good to hear." She said and leaned in for a kiss. I was suprised but melted into the kiss. We stayed there for a good minute then we broke the kiss "Do you know how long I've been waiting for you to say that?" She said. "You've been in love with me, really?" I asked and she nodded. "That's why I asked you if you wanted to go as my date." She said and smiled. "So, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked. "A thousand times, yes!" She said and we kissed again. And now social media is blowing up because of us, what can I say, we are a superior couple.
