Author's note
I'm writing this so some of y'all won't miss me much, I'm free a little so I decided to write this and I won't update until Sunday cause my schedule is getting busier, extra classes among homeworks and I have to participate IOE which is a competition they hold in our country, there are other subjects but my teacher insisted me to participate (again) since in 8th grade I quit because I'm tired. So I'll try and update on every Sunday afternoons, and because it's only the beginning of the year, my schedule still hasn't been official yet and I'll have to change it again next year in May but since that's still long so don't worry, I'll keep updating. Hope y'all enjoy and let me know if I should do a part two.Hailee's POV
It was a cold December evening, except this year 3rd of December was colder than usual. After I found out Niall cheated, I was devastated, heartbroken and hopeless. I was lying on my bed staring the ceiling in boredom, not interested in doing anything but breathing and staring. "Haiz, you need to get up." My friends said as they walked into my room and sat on my bed. "Leave me alone." I mumbled. "You can't just lie there forever. Come on, we got a place we want you to come, it might help you forget about Niall." They said, his name was lingering in my mind, about how bad he did to this relationship. I thought for a while and accept their offer since I have nothing to do. We walked outside, it was snowing a bit but not much, it wasn't crowded as usual. Just couples walking down the street and cars and buses driving around, enjoying this cold Sunday weekend. We arrived to a café, my friends said there's a female singer who always here every Sunday. They said her voice were soothing so they thought it might help. Inside was full of people but very quiet, it has two spaces the ground and upstairs. Usually people pay more to go upstairs to look at the singer since all of them don't want to show their faces, they kept it like a secret my friend Lily said. So upstairs isn't much crowded as downstairs, it's quite dark in here. The only source of light is in the middle of the room where the stage is, others just have a small lamp on the table enough for our eyes to look. We sat down for a while and ordered our drink, Lily ordered vanilla latte, Laura got a cappuccino, Kylie got a hot chocolate and I ordered tea. They were talking while I just staring at the floor lifelessly. "Hey Haiz, just forget about him okay? We're here if you needed someone to talk to." Lauren said then we all heard someone walked up stage, we looked down from the balcony situated in the middle upstairs nearby our table. There's a brunette wear a black sweater with sleeves covering half of her hands but her fingers were still viewable with skinny jeans setting down her guitar, sat down on the chair nearby and brushed her hair back by her hand, revealing her tattoo on her right hand and a little on her neck. She was beautiful, looking into her brown eyes makes you feel like you're lost in this whole world. I was spacing out looking at her when she grabbed the mic and tapped gently, checking if it's on. "Hello, New York. How is everyone doing?" She talked into the mic, looking upwards, waving some people sitting upstairs. "We're doing great Y/n. How are you?" Someone said from downstairs. Wow, not only she's beautiful, her name sounds amazing. "Thank you, I'm doing well. Since it's almost the end of Sunday, tomorrow's a new week so how about I treat you guys a day relaxing at this café, relieving our stress?" She asked as she set the mic back on the microphone stand and pick up her guitar. She thought for a while then she started strumming.
I still remember
Third of December
Me in your sweater
You said it looked betterOn me, than it did you
Only if you knew
How much I liked you
But I watch your eyes, as sheWalks by
What a sight for
Sore eyes
Brighter than a
Blue sky
She's got you
Mesmerized
While I dieWhy would you ever kiss me?
I'm not even half as pretty
You gave her your sweater
It's just polyester, but you like her better
Wish I were Heather
