Beginning Friendships
So here we are again,
Valentine's Day has come.
And this year, you noticed me
My heart went simply numb.
You saw me only as a friend,
Which is alright too.
But just when, I ask myself,
Will your feelings for me be true?
You give me bright sunflowers
A gift of beginning friendships
I'm happy, I'm much happier
Than the invisible girl last year.
I can't hide my disappointment,
It's really evident, I know.
But I'll go on secretly loving you,
And I'll never tell a soul.
