Y/N's First Period

You're 10 years old.

Just getting home from school, (Y/N) locked the door and ran upstairs into her room. She peeked in her underwear. They were slightly stained with blood. 'Seriously?!' you thought. The health teacher said she wouldn't get her first period until at least 12. (Y/N')s mind continued ranting until a cramp hit her lower stomach.

She hugged her stomach in pain. The struggle was real. She heard keys jingled outside. Then, the front door opened. Loki was home. This caused (Y/N) to panic. There was no way she could tell her dad about this. She figured this situation would probably be uncomfortable for someone, like him. (Y/N) decided to roll up toilet paper and use it as a substitute for a pad. Unfortunately, the flow became more heavy throughout the afternoon which needed to be changed every 15 minutes. It was exhausting to get up so many times. For the fifth time, she got more toilet paper.

(Y/N) peeked over the banister. She saw Loki sitting on the sofa looking at Family Feud on TV. She walked down the spiral stairs. He glanced over. "Hey (Y/N). How was school?" She replied, "It was good." Loki nodded and went back to watching TV. She really wanted to tell him, but the nerves got to her. (Y/N) put some Ritz crackers into a bowl and headed upstairs. Loki called (Y/N) back down. He told her new episodes of Miraculous Ladybug was available. She quickly sat down and shared the bowl.

After they watched the new episodes, she stood up and stretched. "Thanks dad!" She went into the kitchen to put the bowl into the sink. Loki saw a dark spot on the white sofa. "(Y/N). Uh, please come here." Loki pointed to the spot. "I think you're bleeding." He told her to turn around. The blood leaked through her pants. (Y/N) covered her eyes and started crying. Loki looked very concerned. He reached out towards (Y/N) and told her to come in for a hug.

While they hugged, she told him what happened. "Aw (Y/N). There's nothing to be embarrassed about. It's normal. Everyone is different. Some girls get their first period this early while others get it later." Loki booped her nose. "I'm your Dad. That's what I'm here for. I would never judge you because of a period." This talk made (Y/N) feel better. He kissed her on the forehead. "Come on. Let's go to the store. We can buy some pads and ibuprofen. I'll even get a good dinner for you tonight." Loki grabbed his car keys and waited for (Y/N) to change her pants. So much weight got lifted off her shoulders.
