Rise of Eternatus (SwSh AU)

The beginning.

It's been at least a year, since the Darkest Day.
Chairman Rose got imprisoned. Hop became the professor's assistant. Gloria became the champion.
And Eternatus?
It was sealed away.
Well, let's see how that went...
Eternatus POV
Darkness. It was all it could see, all it could feel. It hated it. It wanted out of this...abyss. It remembered what happened. It was finally free, free to finally destroy those stupid dogs, and take over the Galar Region. Thanks to that chairman fellow. It felt all that power at its claws. All of it. It felt invigorating, so so invigorating. Then it was defeated by some...eel, those mutts, and a sheep. And if it couldn't get any worse, they sealed it in a pokeball, and locked it away in this...this prison. And it was so close to a plethora of Wishing Stars. So much power, right there...

And it couldn't get to it.

It formulated many plans for when it would get out. Or if it could. One of them included complete annihilation. Another was silently murdering all of the important figureheads in this region and then taking it for itself. But it settled on one plan.

That plan? You shall see, reader.

Another day in the abyss. How many days shall I spend here? Zacian and Zamazenta were always trying to tell me to..
"Humans aren't weak, Eternatus."
"Just because pokemon are 'better', as you say, doesn't mean they won't give without a fight."
"The Galar Region isn't for you to rule."
"Learn to trust humans, and you shall become stronger."

What a joke.
I don't need humans. They're better as pawns. Pawns that I can control. Yes, I can mind control. I mean, not really, it's more like breaking their minds. Oh well. They don't know the difference.

There is this one human.
That girl. She defeated me.
She did this to me.
She imprisoned me. For the second time.
She must pay.

I will make her suffer, as she has made me.

Oh hey, another day.
You know, sometimes I think about when I had so much power.
When I was a god. All powerful.
Shame I lost it. Oh well. I'll get it back one day.
Mark my words.

It gets boring talking to yourself all the time.
Although, no one really is worthy of my presence.
Who cares, once I become ruler I shall be a conquerer.
Like I should be. I mean, that silly chairman though I could've helped the region's energy crisis. Well I would've helped it alright. By RULING it.

It was...how long since I've been here? A year? A decade? A century?
I don't know.

Suddenly Eternatus felt trembling. A loud, rumbling noise so deafening, it would've cried out in excruciating pain. Eternatus was panicked, running to and fro. Then suddenly, a crack.
The crack grew until-

It was free. It was finally free. It didn't know how, it was...free. It looked at the place they sealed it's pokeball. It was destroyed, a small crater in its place, debris scattered. Eternatus immediately moved to the power source it had felt for so long.
A plethora of Wishing Stars.

PERFECT.

It soared over the bright, azure sky, loving the taste of sweet, sweet, freedom. After absorbing the Wishing Stars, it felt energized. Definitely not at full power, but good enough.
Good enough to enact my plan. Though I probably should get some shelter first. That's important.
An abandoned building! Perfect. It's a bit...ruined for my taste....but it's okay. I shall restore it. This shall be the start of my plan.
