I sat on the balcony leaving the cool breeze pass my skin, a smile curling on my lips at the feel of sudden freedom. Clutching the note tightly in my grasp I stared out at the night skies where the stars hung shinning side by side with the moon, which was awfully big tonight.

"I left my window open, please come rescue me." I read out the words on the note before placing it under a stone not wanting it to fly away.

Turning away to crawl back into my bed not wanting to wake the monster tonight again. I wanted to be saved tonight.

My body shot forward, sweat dripping from my forehead at the all too familiar dream that comes every night. The memory of the same night I was taken and my worries and fears vanished away between my fingers.

Swinging my legs over my bed leaving my them swinging freely in the air as my bed was positioned near the ceiling above all the boys, having a window opening for me to climb out whenever I can't sleep. He made sure I was able to climb out to watch the night skies, knowing it always calmed me down.

I sat on the highest branch watching the calm seas sway and the stars hanging still. I smiled closing my eyes, the cool air passing by my bare skin only having shorts and tank top on.

Wondering who that monster was that I didn't want to wake up as a child ? No indeed it wasent the one under my bed, but my step father. My mother was a beautiful woman who took care of me on her own as my real father left her before I was even born.

Up until I was seven years old we were perfectly fine, she used to read me bedtime stories every night which was why I continued to believe that everyone and everything existed.

I still remember the first day my mother brought the man home and everything had changed. She would no longer read to me or play with me, all the attention went to that monster. But I could see it in her eyes she regretted every moment spend with him and not me.

When she died things got even worse, I would have to work and clean around the house all day, every day. There was no escape and if I disobeyed ? I would get punished. Sometimes worse than before and I would come out with bruises and pains.

The only thing that got me through the years were my fairytale stories. Jack Frost, Little mermaid and so on, especially Peter Pan. The thought of going to Neverland and becoming free ?

It made my heart race but stop at the same time.

"Bad dreams again ?" Hes smooth voice rang in my ears causing me to open my eyes.

Meeting upon big green eyes and messy dirty blonde hair, hes bare chest making every girls eyes to linger at the sight. I smiled and nodded knowing he'll understand everything's alright, after all he was my saviour.

That night I left the note asking to be rescued, Peter finally heard my wishes and took me away. Yes, Peter Pan. It was the night I became the first and last Lost Girl. You would half expect me and him to be the only ones left since all the lost boys returned to the real world and found families ?

Wendy and her brothers ? Yes that is a very much true story and after many years Peter still had a open wound after she had left, and unfortunately forgotten. She had stayed up late and stared out her window watching out for Peter but a year or so she forgot.

And Peter ? He was left alone with Tink on Neverland, Until the boys began to gather again. Peter Pan is not the only fairyale boy that came to life of course, Jack Frost cannot be forgotten.

Troublemaker..

As I entered the island I had to make one promise.

To never leave Neverland..

And so I did, Belle the first Lost girl. Whose Fairytales came to life.
