I ended up following them to an open cave hidden behind a waterfall, which I've known very well as I would spend my days there of I needed time alone. Being the only girl here, apart from a few fairies.
"I have a bad feeling, someone has been following us." I smirked when an idea flashed through my mind. Quickly I messed up my hair and clothes, hiding away my bow.
"Shh, someone is there." I heard them whisper, putting on a pouting sad face.
The man pointed he's sword at me as I stumbled back in fear from him, pushing myself away from him my eyes beginning to water with tears.
"Marvin stop it ! She's just a girl." A petite woman spoke out, running to my side. Protectively putting an arm around my shoulder, pulling me up to my feet.
"She could be one of them !"
"Dont be naive, come sit down. Tell us what happened to you." She led me to their little settling while I began shaking, not speaking a word just yet.
"He, hes been keeping be captive here. Him and that.. girl, she belongs with Pan. I-I wanted your help, to leave you three. I just want to go home." I started sobbing through my words, thank fully all three buying my story.
Apart from the other lady who seems to named Layla, the tough one. There is something off about her but I cannot point it down.
"Pan already knows you are here, he is just playing games with you. If he wanted you dead you would already be dead." Soon the fire died down and I finished with my last words.
The others fell fast asleep, I quietly slipped out into the night feeling relieved at the soft breeze swaying through my long hair glad I left the stuffy place. My shirt disgustingly stuck to me just wishing this would be all over already.
"Where have you been !" When I returned in the early morning, Layla tightly pressed a knife into my back stopping me from any movement.
"I-I went to find food, I was just hungry." I stuttered out my act back on, ignoring the painful pinch in my back as I kept wriggling, twisting my face in pain.
Out of the corner of my eyes I noticed a Shadow but quickly turned away not wanting to catch the others attention, tears started filling my eyes wanting to get Maries attention.
"P-Please it hurts, stop it !" She dragged me back outside where the sun hasn't risen yet, so the skies were yet still dark.
"Your little act didn't work on me, sweetheart. Now tell me, where is Peter Pan ?" Her voice remained still, her breath fanning the back of my neck pressing the knife harder into my back.
"I'll have to call him, but you must let me go." My sweet voice disappeared in replacement for my normal cold one.
"You're only protecting him." She laughed, roughly pushing me down as I landed on my knees. My head shot to the side, sending her a glare.
A Shadow flew by rapidly only to catch a glimpse of it, but caught both of ours attention. She quickly grasped me into her hold, placing the knife back into my lower back. This time I felt the tip of her knife break through the fabric of my sweater, slowly pushing into my skin.
"Let her be." I winced in pain before he's cold voice spoke out and he descended down before us.
"He didn't tell you did he ? After all those years you showed him love and he didn't have the courage to tell you the truth ?" Her words were my distraction from stirring in pain making the cut in my back worse.
I stared at Peter catching a glimpse of sorrow and regret behind the darkness of he's eyes.
"Peter cannot love, not because he's a cold hearted villain. But because it would break the never aging spell, he is simply selfish only thinking about himself. That's all."
