Lars headed out the door and into the hallway, he walked down the long regal halls eventually passing a servant who bowed.
"No, there's no need for that," Lars assured the servant with a big smile. Lars resumed his walk till he reached a meeting room with a long large table with documents spread across the table. On the wall next to the door, a phone hung on the wall. Lars lifted it up off of the receiver and made a few calls.
20 Minutes Later
Lars sat at the head of the table with his legs spread all the way open, Zac sat at Lars right hand with Raymond across from him, Alvin sat next to Zac, and Anya sat across from Alvin. The rest of the seats were filled with various generals, admirals, and commanders.
"This one month mission is dangerous, are you sure you should go on this your majesty," An ark in fancy armour spoke.
"Admiral Sven, I value your input about my safety, but 20 of our best men will be accompanying me and Royal Scientist Conway," Lars spoke.
"Yes your majesty," Sven replied.
"As I said before, while I'm gone, I leave my duties in the hands of Zac and Alvin," Lars announced to the table while glancing over at the two wizards.
"If there are no more questions, I have something to propose," Raymond spoke up and looked over at Lars. Lars quickly nodded and Raymond got up from his seat. "Since we are leaving next week, I propose we have a festival to celebrate this historical moment. Do you approve of this notion Lars?" Raymond brought up, secretly crossing his fingers.
"Hummmm, why did you wait until the last minute to tell me this? Anyways, the festival may happen, but someone else needs to plan it as the two of us are going to be busy preparing," Lars sassed, annoyed at Raymond for waiting so long to ask this.
"Ohhh can I plan it!" Alvin happily interrupted, jumping up from his seat causing it to fall over.
"Oh hell no!" Zac protested, "the last party you planned was horrible," Zac grunted, crossing his arms.
"Hey, it's not my fault no one showed up to Beatriz's tea party!" Alvin barked while picking up the chair.
"Hey, that was the best tea party I have ever been to," Anya admitted.
"See someone agrees with me," Alvin said proudly with a cheeky grin on his face.
"Anyways, will you let me help plan it!?" Anya excitedly questioned, about to get out of her seat but sunk back down when she saw Raymond's glare.
"Sure let's get started!" Alvin said excitedly. Anya shrieked and got out of her seat despite Raymond's intimidating aura. With that, Alvin and Anya dashed out the door to begin planning the grand festival.
"Wait!" Lars tried to get them to get back, but realized they were long gone, "Ughh damn, well anyways, I guess the meeting is dismissed. Also, Zac and Raymond may I have a word with you?" Lars signaling the two to stay.
"Sure what do you need help with?" Zac asked as the last of the military personnel left the room.
"Can you two help me go over with our preparations?" Lars asked sheepishly as he hated asking for help, it made him feel weak.
"Yeah of course," Raymond said while reaching for a binder filled with papers and documents. "Okay well here is the list of soldiers who passed all the correct tests and are able to go on this mission, we just have to pick 20," Raymond said while examining the paper, pointing his finger under the names of the soldiers.
"Oh, here is a list of supplies we made last week," Zac said while pointing to a notepad in the binder.
"Okay Raymond, can you please conduct interviews to weave that list down to 20 and Zac I will assist you with gathering the correct amount of supplies for this journey," Lars said. Zac and Raymond nodded.
"Alright let's get it done," Raymond said as he finished the game of footsies he was playing with Zac the whole time.
