The ballroom was filled with humans and arks in fancy suits and dresses. Candles illuminated tables centerpieces and reflected off of the glass cylinders they were in. cupples danced around the dance floor as the band played various types of music, and multiple singers came on and off the stage. Servers ran around with appetizers and refilling champaign. Alvin stood off to the side sipping his champaign, he was proud for putting on such a big event in such a short amount of time. Alvin was wearing a black suit with a rainbow tie. Zac and Raymond were slow dancing. Zac wore the red suit Raymond picked out five years ago. Raymond wore a white suit coat with balck pants and shoes. Anya sat at the head table fidgeting with her silverware. She wore a sleeveless black dress, with high heels. Anya would be dancing, but the heels were killing her feet forcing her to take a break from the dance floor. Lars was mingling around the room greeting and talking to different arks, and humans. Lars wore formal military clothes, a black jacket with many pins and badges that had many meanings, black pants, combat boots, a golden sash, and in a place of a sword on his hip he had the Axe of the Oppressed.

An Hour Later

Alvin made his way onto the stage and signaled for the band to stop. He grabbed the microphone and spoke.

"My apologies people, but before we move onto dinner, his majesty king Lars II has some words to say," Alvin said before stepping off to the side handing the microphone to Lars.

"Hello everyone, I hope this event will be one to remember, even though it was such a short notice. Alvin did an amazing job planning this, may we give a round of applause to Alvin," Lars announced as the ballroom erupted in applause. Alvin blushed from the sudden praise.

"No, no there's no need for this," Alvin said, but nobody heard him through the applause.

"Everyone, I want you to enjoy yourselves to night before my departure," Lars finished his speech. Everyone cheered and toasted to Lars as he walked off the stage.

Late In The Night

People were slowly leaving the palace and returning home for the night. Lars was chatting with a small group of a mix of commoners and nobles. Raymond and Zac were sitting together admiring each other. Alvin was talking with a handsome nobleman from Steelville. Anya once again sat alone thinking about the Bow of Loyalty, and Kaitlyn .

"Your Highness, I hate to be a party pooper, but it is getting late and you have a big day tomorrow, so I recommend you get some sleep soon," a female ark said.

"You're right Mrs. Blake," Anya said with a smile getting up to leave the ballroom. Eventually more and more humans and arks left until only a few dozens remained. The band stopped playing music and eventually began packing up.

"Everyone think you for an amazing night I can't wait for what celebration that we are going to have when King Lars returns!" Alvin drunkenly said into the microphone ending the party. Alvin stubbled off the stage and leaned on the nobleman he was sweet talking. Eventually all of the guests left and servants began to clean the ballroom.

"Well that was a party," Lars said.

"Yeah!" Alvin shouted.

"Okay come on let me get you out of here," the nobleman said as he walked Alvin out.

"I just hope he doesn't take advantage of Alvin," Raymond said as he watched Alvin being carried out.

"Yeah who even is that guy?" Zac asked, sneering at the guy near him.

"I'm pretty sure he is a cousin to Sylvester Von Benedict, I think he is Duke Felix," Lars said.

"Anyways see you in the morning Lars," Zac said as he and Raymond walked away holding hands.

"Yeah see you two in the morning," Lars replied.
