Day One
Today we did it! We broke Earth's atmosphere! WE ARE IN FUCKING SPACE! It feels amazing that we can fly so easily. The soldiers carrying the convoy don't even feel the weight. Another thing that surprises me is that it is so easy to breathe, the air (or lack thereof) just smells and tastes like flat soda. Anyways, I miss Zac, I wish he could have come with us but apparently humans aren't able to be in space. Even though this journey has just begun, I can't wait to return to his arms. We are supposed to make it to Mars before our next break, but we are still a little ways away. Let's see how true that will be.
Day Two
We did make it to Mars, the red planet looked so pretty. The red sands remind me of Zac's red trench coat. Ugh why can't I stop thinking about him! Well, Lars said that if we keep on our current pace, we could reach the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Some human astronomers theorize that it is the remnants of a failed planet forming, cool. I'm going to have to cut this entry short. There seems to be a problem with the convoy.
Day Three
We had a minor problem yesterday. The hatch on the convoy opened, and a lot of supplies floated out. Thankfully we were able to get them all back, but this is going to delay us a bit. We might not make it to Jupiter today. Lars is a little mad, but he is otherwise okay. It's been interesting watching him be so care free. I haven't seen him like this since we were kids. I have to admit, it would be romantic to float around space with Zac in my arms. Just the two of us, no one else to yell at us for being gay, or an interspecies couple. I find it interesting that humans are the ones who spread the most hate on Earth. I have faced prejudice mostly from humans when me and Zac are intimate in public. But the group who receives the most hate are hybrids. Why? I don't know. They are amazing individuals. Humans and arks seem to think that they are monsters when in reality they are just like me. Ugh, sometimes I wonder how are humans so stupid.
Day Four
We made it to Jupiter today! The giant gas ball is actually really pretty. It's interesting how it has a storm that never ends. Imagine that, a storm that never ends. No wonder our ancestors didn't choose Jupiter. But that red spot reminds me of Anya's fur color. I hope she's alright and not causing any trouble. I wish she could have come with us, but it's too dangerous. We might make it to Saturn tomorrow, this means we are ahead of schedule. Hehe, can't wait to rub it into Lars he thought we would be behind after that mishap.
Day Five
We did it, we made it to Saturn, we might make it to Uranus early morning if we keep at this speed. I'm so excited I can't contain it anymore!!!!!!
