Ark Lore part 3: Where It All Began

Phayor's Scientist Returns

Earth's Upper Atmosphere

Lars, Raymond, and the group of guards began to descend into Earth's atmosphere.

"We should split up!" Lars shouted to Raymond.

"What? Why?" Raymond asked, confused.

"I'm going to retrieve the Stone of Peace. You take the men to Phayor and help Zac and Alvin," Lars said.

"Okay see you when you get it," Raymond said before Lars flew off towards the temple of the Stone of Peace.

50 Minutes Later

Raymond and the men flew closer to Phayor. They could see buildings visibly damaged and some parts of the grand wall was broken.

"What happened here?" Raymond asked himself. Before long they were flying above the city. They saw the burned and crushed buildings and almost no humans and arks in the streets below. Eventually they found the square they took off from and landed. "You, after the convoy is unloaded lead a search and rescue team," Raymond said to a guard before storming off to the palace in hopes of finding his fiance.

20 Minutes Later

Raymond walked down the streets of Phayor the buildings were crubbled and burned, Raymond was still a few minutes away from the center district. The buildings were getting more and more destroyed and burnt as Raymond neared the center district.

"What happened here?" Raymond said aloud as he examined a burnt crumbling building. He brushed his hand along the charred stone causing his blue fur to be coated with black sot. As Raymond turned away from the building a magical purple perjectal came flying towards Raymond. Raymond reacted quickly and drew his katana from its sheath cutting the perjectal in half before it could harm him.

"GIVE IT TO ME NOW!" A voice hissed from a nearby alley way.

"Give what!" Raymond asked as he took a defensive stance in anticipation for an attack.

"The Stone of Strength!" the voice said as they stepped out from the alleyway. Clark lowered the hood of his cloak to allow his messy black-grey hair to flow doan his shoulders.

"Who are you! Did you harm the people of Phayor!" Raymond said, pissed off. "Where is my fiance? Where is Zac!? Where is he!? If you dare lay a finger on him!?" Raymond continued to shout as he slowly closed the distance with his katana drawn ready to fight.

"Oh Zac? He put up a good fight, but I got bored easily. I think he would have won if he didn't hide the Stone of Dexterity from me," Clark said as he grinned.

"Enough with the stalling answer my questions!" Raymond demanded.

"Well I don't know if Zac is alive, but he looked pretty beat up before he fled like the coward he is," Clark said with a crazy laugh.

"AGHHHH!" Raymond yelled as he charged Clark. As Raymond neared Clark, he summoned a tentacle and slammed Raymond causing him to fall and drop his katana. Raymond let out a groan as he began to sit up. Before Raymond could make it to his feet the tentacle wrapped itself around Raymond, and hurled him into the rubble of a nearby building.

"Leave Raymond alone!" a familiar voice shouted, but Raymond couldn't name it before he slipped into unconsciousness as images of his loved one flashed before his eyes.
