Her POV
Liv and I were on the sofa when her phone rang,
"It's work I got to take it!"she said
"Course!"I replied then looked at my phone and saw that I had half dialled a number,
The I remembered it's the one from the book,
Because I was at Liv's house I wasn't going to call them so I decided to message them:
*hey! I'm y/n. This number was left inside a book?*
I then put my phone on silent and Liv walked into the room,
"I have work tomorrow!"she said and flopped onto the sofa and put her head on my lap,it was funny it was like I was her Jen,I always did that to Jen she Liv always did that stuff to me.
I stoked her hair then said,
"Hey how about me bake some cookies then watch a film?"I asked and she shot up.
"Yes!!"she said all excited like a child.
"Right I don't have any food so I'll go get some from the shop, you get changed into comfy clothes and put your stuff in the other room,
Then order Pizza!"she said grabbing her keys.
"Yes sir!"I mocked and she laughed before leaving,
I threw my stuff in her guest bedroom and put my phone on charge that's when I saw the person had replied,
*you found my text then!*
*who are you?* I asked
*oh right yea, I'm Tom* he said and I smiled and my heart warmed slightly
*h-when did you even put the note in there?*I asked
*that's a secret 🤫* he said and I changed into some comfier clothes and then ordered the pizza.
That's when I heard Liv shout,
"I'm back!!!"
"Coming!"I replied and smiled at the texts from Tom quickly changing his contact name to,
Tom🥰.
"Cookies!"Liv said and I laughed.
We made the cookies and they were perfect,we got them out the oven just a few minutes before it said to so they were gooey in the middle.
The pizza arrived just as they finished and we sat on the sofa eating them watching a movie.
I woke up abruptly and very bewildered,
I looked around then saw Liv's head on my lap and realised we must have fallen asleep on the sofa so I rubbed my eyes when Liv said,
"Hey...what time is it?"she said stretching
I reached for my phone and just about got it when I saw it was 9:30
"Shit!"I said
"It's 9:30 I'm late!!!"I said standing up and running to get changed,
I ran into the bathroom and did my teeth and washed my face before quickly throwing on some joggers and a t-shirt,
I then ran out the door shouting,
"I'll come back for my stuff!"I didn't even wait to hear for her response just left.
I walked down the street well jogged while throwing my hair up in a messy bun,
I then checked my phone to see 20 missed texts from Tom which I knew was going to be him mad over why I wasn't there so I didn't check them but as I was looking at my phone I bumped into someone,
"Sorry!"I said and looked up to see Josh.
"Wait no I'm not!"I said then carried on walking.
His POV
She was half an hour late an I was starting to get really worried like what if something had happened to her,
I subtly in the class while teaching texted her to see if she was ok but she didn't reply to them so I kept texting hoping she was ok because there was a part of me that just wanted to run out the classroom and she if she was ok,
That's all that mattered.
