Her POV
It had been a couple of days since the date and Tom and I had seen each other at school and waved and smiled and we texted a few times but not really spoken in person much as it was harder once we were in school.
I woke up on the Thursday and had my shower before getting dressed into some jeans plus a white top and then made my way to school picking up a coffee on the way as I was really early.
I had Toms class first and I was quite early but I went in anyway to see Tom leaning on his desk looking at his board and his brown curls fell on his head and he had a pen in between his hand and mouth and he looked so hot.
I walked into the classroom and he looked at me and smiled and as we were the only ones in the room I went over to him,
"Hey!"he said
"Hi!"I replied and he smiled at me before leaning in and said,
"So when's my second date?"I could feel his smirk
"I didn't know I had to ask?"I replied and he looked at me
"Well it is...balls in your court!"he said and I laughed and smiled at him as he placed his hand on my cheek and leaned in and my heart fluttered as he was about to kiss me when I whispered,
"Balls in your court Professor!"I giggled when the door opened and we quickly shuffled away and I made my way to my seat and watched his smirk/smile as he laughed then began the class.
He began teaching the class and he looked really good and I actually leant a lot and was happy with the notes I got,
We had about 10 minutes left of the class and we were doing some class work when Tom said,
"Right everyone is getting their last essays back now!"he said and walked around the class slipping paper in front of people and I could see some smiles and some frowns about their grades when I saw him stand in front of me and placed the piece of paper in front of me and winked before walking off and I looked down at my test to see I got 74% so normal for me but as everyone packed up their stuff and left I flicked through my paper looking at the notes.
That's when I saw a post-it note saying:
After school tomorrow-
4pm, meet me in the park.
Tom <3
I smiled at the note and blushed at the note before picking up my stuff and walking to the door while mouthing,
"See you tomorrow!"
He laughed and I winked at him causing him to chuckle before walking out with a smile before I bumped into someone.
"Sor-"I started to stay
"Y/n!"I looked up to see Jayden
"Oh hey!"I said and embraced him in a hug
"How'd you test go?"I asked
"Good and your paper?"he asked and I held it up to show the 74%
"Omg that's amazing!"he said and pulled me into another hug
"We should celebrate what you doing tomorrow?"he asked
"Oh er um I'm busy!"I said awkwardly Causing a silence
"How about we go get a drink now then?"he asked and I nodded before we walked out to the cafe.
We arrived and I ordered a tea plus a muffin and he ordered a weird drink filled with lots of stuff and a weird pastry I hadn't heard of and we started talking.
We laughed a lot and talked the whole time then it was getting later so we slowly walked back to mine passing a few shops.
"Thanks for walking me back!"I said when we arrived and hugged him
"No problem!"he said the began to lean in and I placed my hand on his chest and pushed him away
"Wha-did I do something wrong?"he asked
"Jayden...I really like you...but as a friend..."I said looking at the floor dreading his answer.
"Wh-"he just stood there
"I'm really sorry if I led you on or anything I just really need a friend at the moment and I really love our friendship and I don't mean to say one of those lines but I genuinely don't want to ruin our friendship!"I spat out looking at him hoping he would be ok.
The silence was defending and I felt tears form in my eyes as I would really miss him and our friendship,
"Hey...don't cry!"he said and pulled me into a hug
"I'm not crying...yet!"I said and we both laughed
"So your not mad!"I sis spilling away wiping my nose
"No,I kind of figured you didn't like me a while ago when you would dodge my moves but I really love our friendship too!"he said and I smiled and laughed
"Thank you!!"I said with a smile and a hug when he said,
"I guess this is the time of admitting things..."I looked at him confused
"Ok?"I asked
"Well so you know...I need to tell you something because no one else knows and I don't know I just haven't got close with anyone enough to tell them..."he said stressed and I got really nervous
"Well I think I'm into guys..."I looked up really happy
"Really?"I asked excitedly
"Yes...I think!"he said and I hugged him really tight
"That's amazing!!!"I squealed while I squeezed him and then pulled away and he had the biggest smile on his face.
"But why did you keep making moves on me...?"I asked awkwardly
"Well I didn't know but when you avoided me I was actually relieved and when you said you wanted to be friends I was really happy so basically I was just trying to hide it...plus I like this guy!"he said and smiled
"You know what this means...?"I said with a smirk and he looked at me confused
"We can talk about boys!!!"I said and he laughed before I invited him in and we watched a movie before falling asleep on the sofa.
We woke up and got ready before walking to school and he told me all about his crush Louis and he wouldn't stop talking about him it was actually really sweet,
"You know what you guys would be really cute together actually!"I said and he looked at me
"I know right...anyway I've got to go to class,bye!"he quickly said and hugged me before running of an so smiled before feeling a grip around my wrist and being pulled away.
