Her POV
I woke up and rolled out of bed and checked my phone to see 5 missed calls from Josh and I just ignored them and got in the shower.
I quickly showered then got dressed but I didn't really care what I was wearing as I still felt bad well....shit after the whole Josh thing so I just threw something on.
I looked in the mirror and you could still see that I had only slept for like 4 hours so I put on some concealer but it didn't do much so I just threw my hair up and walked to school.
I dreaded what was going to happen when I saw Josh and I couldn't avoid him as he was in my first class as well as Tom.
I got there early and sat down that's when Tom looked up from the board and smiled and I got a wave of safeness and for the first time I felt ok with seeing Josh because I knew Tom would be there even though he didn't know what happened.
Only a few seconds later Josh walked in and came up to me,
"We need to talk!"he said and we walked down next to the door but still in the classroom I hadn't even looked at him.
"Why have you been ignoring me?"he said firmly and I was so shocked that I looked up at him and saw he had a big black eye and a bruised nose and was really confused.
He looked me up and down then said,
"What are you wearing?"he said very judgemental making me place my arms on my stomach and look down.
"Hey look at me!"he said grabbing my wrist which scared me.
"What happened?"I asked about his eye
"W-wh-"he got all flustered and I pulled my wrist away from him he then said
"Don't change the subject why are you ignoring me?"he said again.
"Look Josh,I'm not that type of girl I don't fit with your friends and the party are we just going to forget what you did!"I said and walked away a bit but he grabbed my wrist and said,
"Hey!"he raised his voice then pulled me towards him but I just looked down.
"You can't-" he got cut off by someone
"Hey! You need to get to your seats!"I looked to see Tom and I got that safe feeling again,
Tom glared at Josh then looked at him holding my wrist which caused Josh to let go.
I looked at my wrist and rubbed it then I saw Toms hand all bruised up and had a cut on one of the knuckles.
That's when we went back to our seats.
Josh and I were opposite sides of the classroom.
Thank god!
It was halfway through class and I looked down at my wrist as it hurt slightly and I could see a slight bruise forming from where Josh's grip was.
I couldn't stop replaying what just happened in my head I mean I don't know any happened with Josh he was so nice before,
I couldn't figure out what had changed in him it was like he had just flipped a switch,
But then I thought of Tom and how he helped with Josh and when he was around I felt safer and like nothing bad would happen,
That's when the bell rang and I was snapped out of my thoughts.
I didn't want to speak to Josh so I packed up my things extra slow so I wouldn't have to talk to him,
I walked out and made my way to the coffee van in the park where I ordered a coffee that would hopefully wake me up when someone grabbed my shoulder,
"What the fuck was that?"Josh said
"That's a coffee!"I said grabbing the coffee from the man and paying him.
"You can't break up with me!"He said firmly
"What happened?"I asked
"What?"he said shocked
