Eddie was practically sleep walking by the time they reached the street Richie's house was on. Richie was humming some Queen song Eddie didn't know, as they approached his house, stopping abruptly.

"Shit." Richie said.

"What?" Eddie asked, panic sparking in the pit of his stomach. His question was quickly answered when he looked up to see Stanley marching down Richie's steps pointing an accusing finger at Richie.

"You!" He said coming closer. Richie stepped back, finding refuge behind a tree.

"Now Stan, let's talk about this?" Richie begged, his voice cracking with fear. Eddie had no idea what was going on but anything to do with Stan being mad at Richie he was in for.

"You are a dick Richie Tozier!" He yelled trying to reach for Richie's sleeve only for Richie to dodge and climb the tree. He knew Stan wasn't tall enough to get up.

"I don't know what you're talking about man." Richie said as he climbed higher.

"You," Stan let out a frustrating grunt and suddenly turned to Eddie. "Do you know what he did?"

"What? No um... this isn't about us getting lost?" Eddie suggested, desperate for a way out of Stans rampage.

"Oh so is that what happened? You two got lost?" He said in a tone that made Eddie think he didn't believe it. He turned his head to look up the tree at Richie and said "you know you owe me 50 bucks for destroying my bike you dick. You said you would pay me today, where's my fucking money trashmouth?" Eddie tried not to laugh, this was what he was so pissed about?

"Please. It wasn't that destroyed. So I accidentally left it out in the street and old man Ferguson ran it over? Big deal, walk." Richie joked, and Eddie wanted to hit him. Why was he making Stan more upset?

"YOU KNOW WHY IT'S A BIG DEAL YOU DICK HEAD!" Stan looked at the ground searching for something, his eyes finally landing on an object and he bent down picking up a rock. He drew his arm back and before Eddie could stop him he launched it through the air towards Richie.

"FUCK!" Richie yelled. He lost his balance for a second almost falling out of the tree entirely. "YOU ASSHAT! I COULD'VE FALLEN!"

"THAT WAS KIND OF THE POINT IDIOT!" Stan crossed his arms now. He sighed and asked, "Do you have the money or not?" He looked sad and Eddie didn't understand why this made him so upset but he was going to kill Richie if he didn't fix it right now.

Richie smiled and said "Of course I do."

Stanley smiled wide and scuffed. "Yea alright, throw it down, Tarzan." Richie dug into his pocket and threw the wet money to him.

"What the fuck?" He said holding the money away from him.

"Long story," Eddie said. "Chee, can we go now? I'm going to pass out."

"Yea yea alright I'm coming you drama queen." Richie said as he climbed down.

"Says the one in a tree." Eddie snapped back. Stan laughed and turned to Eddie.

"My parents said they'd send me away to boarding school if I didn't find a way to fix my bike myself. Said they didn't want to drive me anywhere and didn't plan on doing so, just because I was an idiot and got my bike recked." Stan explained looking oddly unemotional.

"Sorry Stan." Eddie said, sympathy lining his words.

"It's ok, Rich actually payed up so, all good." He patted Eddies shoulder and whispered " 'Chee'? Huh? ... interesting." he winked at Eddie and yelled a goodbye to Richie who was just landing on solid ground again. Eddies cheeks were hot and he swallowed hard. He really needed to stop being so obvious. It's not that he doesn't want people knowing he's gay, he just doesn't know if Richie wants to tell his friends anything about them yet. Eddie didn't know either to be honest, he liked this, them, together without worrying about anything or anyone else but each other.
