"Where are we going exactly?" Beverley asked panting.

"My house, obviously." Richie said, as they turned a corner to Richie's street. Eddie felt sick.

"Chee.." he warned, stopping.

"What? You ok?" Richie asked standing in front of him, hands on Eddie's shoulders.

"I think I'm gonna puke." He said leaning over, hands on his knees.

"What? Why?" Bev asked.

"I DONT FUCKING KNOW!" Eddie yelled back. What kind of question?

"Sorry jeez." She said turning away from them.

"Eds it's ok, just breathe. You need to calm down, you're too anxious." Richie instructed running his fingers through Eddies hair. Eddie sucked in a breath as an attempt to calm is nerves, but it quickly back fired. Eddie quickly turned away from Richie, puking on some random persons lawn. Richie's hand was on his back, trying to help.

"Shit." Eddie said sitting on the ground.

"You ok?" Bev asked standing above him.

"Yep. Peachy." He replied wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.

"I can't believe that just happened." Eddie said looking at the ground.

"What you puking or your mom being a bitch?" Richie asked and Bev hit his arm.

"Both." Eddie said quietly. "What am I gonna do? Where am I gonna stay? What about school? How am I going to live?" Eddie was panicking, he was gonna puke again.

"Eds calm down, you can stay with me forever. I'll take care of you and all that." Richie said squatting down so he was eye level with Eddie. He held out a hand to help Eddie up.

"Eddie I love you, but I have to go home now. Rich take care of him will ya?" Beverley said walking away.

"Don't die or whatever!" Richie yelled after her.

"Richie?" Eddie said brushing off his -Richie's- clothes. Richie's turned to him a smile still on his face.

"Yea bub?" He said looking at Eddie's legs. Eddies blush was instant. Bub?!??? And what was he looking at?? Richie bent down and wiped of Eddies sweat pants, there was dirt on them. He sighed and put his hands on his hips, waiting for what Eddie had to say. Eddie realized this and cleared his throat.

"I'm sorry." He said finally.

"For what? Getting dirt on my pants? Eh I have more it's-"

"No Chee. For my mom."

"Eds don't do that. You don't have to feel bad for something you didn't do." Richie said stepping closer.

"But I do. This is my fault Chee." Eddie said backing away from him.

"Eddie what are you talking about? How is any of this your fault? None of this is your fault!" Richie said raising his voice a little. Eddie walked past him, towards Richie's street. Richie was behind him.

"Richie I was the one who got us lost, if I wasn't such a baby we wouldn't be in this mess." Eddie said picking up his pace. Richie did as well, walking next to him now.

"You can't look at it that way Eds." He said. They were in front of his house now and Richie opened the door for him. Eddie was hesitant to walk in, he felt awful. "Eddie come inside or I'll make you." And of course Eddie did. They walked into the kitchen, Eddie sitting at the table, Richie trying to find food for them.

"What way am I supposed to look at it?" Eddie asked and for some reason he felt angry.

"If we didn't get lost, we wouldn't be together." Richie said leaning on the fridge, across the room from Eddie. Eddie just stared at him.

"If we weren't together Rich, I would still have a home and you wouldn't have to deal with my homophobic mother who wants to see your head on a stake." Eddie said looking away from him. Richie scoffed and turned, opening the fridge and taking out a frozen pizza dropping it on the counter and spinning around again walking to the table. He stood across from Eddie, angry present on his face.

"Why are you doing this? Why are saying these things to me? Your home is here now, and I don't give a shit about your mom Eddie."

"Richie I do. I give a shit. She hurt me and she did it by taking you away from me, I can't help but wonder if it would've been better if I didn't have you to take away." Eddie said crying now.

"Shut up." Richie said taking off his glasses.

"Why? Because I'm right?" Eddie said standing up.

"No, because it hurts." He yelled tears in his eyes. "You can't do that. It wouldn't of been better, I need you."

"I need you too, and I think that's the problem." Eddie said looking at the old table.

"STOP IT!" Richie yelled walking over to Eddie, in his face. "Why are you doing that? Why are you trying to push me away?"

"BECAUSE CHEE! SHE'LL FIND US AND USE YOU AS A PUNCHING BAG AND THAT WILL HURT MORE THAN NOT HAVING YOU AT ALL." Eddie yelled shoving Richie away.

"WHY? WHY WILL IT HURT SO MUCH?"
Eddie hated him. He knew why and he was going to use it as a reason for Eddie to stay. "Why Eds?" He asked again, more calm, but it pissed Eddie off, he knew why.

"BECAUSE I FUCKING LOVE YOU CHEE." He screamed with a sob. Richie moved forward fast, smashing their lips together. This was so different then their first kiss, fast and passionate. Eddies legs were jello and he couldn't breathe in the best way. Richie's mouth moved from Eddies lips, placing small kisses all over his face and neck. Eddie grabbed Richie's face pulling him back up to look him in the eyes. Richie's facial expression looked pained.

"You can't leave me." He said.

"I won't Chee, I couldn't if I wanted to."

"You can't say things like that to me." Richie said leaning their foreheads together. "Eddie I love you so much, I can't breathe without you remember?"

"I'm sorry, I know. I'm sorry." Eddie said kissing his nose, cheeks, eyes and lips. "I can't have anything happen to you."

"Nothing will, if we to stay together."

"Ok Chee."

Richie kissed him again and again and again.
