Hello, loves! I decided to post this chapter along with chapter two because I really felt it was necessary. And I just love you so much that you guys deserve another bonus chapter! But I probably won't do this often. This was just because I wanted to have Haley into the story more, and I couldn't wait to get my chapter out.
Enjoy! :P

______________Chapter Three:
Haley's POV
I slam the truck door shut and watch as Ethan leaves me behind. A small smile finds its way onto my face and I start to walk.
I don't get him. I thought he didn't want me to talk to him, yet he basically forces me into a car ride home.
The rain soaks my leather jacket and my hair. I turn my walking into running so I can get home faster.
*~*~*~*
I run up the stairs and open the front door. I close it quietly and take a step toward the staircase, but a large hand grips my arm and pulls me back. "Why are you late?" he hisses.
I stare at the floor and feel tears sting my eyes due to his grip. They threaten to spill over, but I don't let them, I need to stay strong. I shallow the lump growing in my throat, and I speak up. "I walked," I choke.
My body whips around with his strength and I'm forced to look into my father's eyes. "There are no excuses for being late. I was worried about you."
I open my mouth and try to hold myself from saying what I know I shouldn't. "You? Worried? That's bullshit, dad. Try a little harder next time."
I clamp my mouth shut and mentally slap myself. But before I could apologize, his fist connected with my jaw, sending me to the floor. "What did I say about watching that pretty little mouth of yours? Stupid bitch," he spits. I hold onto my jaw with my hand that isn't propping me up to look at him. He smirks with satisfaction, then loses it as his cold expression returns. "Now clean up the blood. We have guests coming."
I let a tear fall when I see he has left the room. Great. There's another bruise added to the list.
*~*~*~*
I make my way to the dinner table with my head hung low. The guests that my dad told me about earlier are here, and I certainly don't want them to know about what he did."So, Haley, are you going to college after you graduate?" Celia-one of my dad's friends-asks.
I look up from the table and smile as much as I could without it hurting too bad. "No. But I would go to Ferris State University if I could," I say.
"For what?"
"Pre-med. My mom was a nurse."
"Oh? That's so sweet. Having the dream job that your mother had when she was alive."
I slap a fake smile on my face before looking down at my plate and stabbing my salad with a fork. An elbow stabs into my ribs and I look up to see that it was my dad. "Sit up straight," he orders sternly.
I do as told and look around the table. There are three other people besides me and my dad at the table. Celia, her husband, Clark, and their son, Nick.
Nick looks at me and gives me a soft smile before looking me up and down of what he can see of me. The table pretty much cuts off from just below my boobs down, so he gets full view of what I have.
I slap a smirk on my face and give him direct eye contact, to which he stops smiling. I feel satisfied, so I look down at my food and happily shove the salad into my mouth. I really wish I didn't have to hide everything about my life. Everything's a secret with me, and nobody can figure me out because of it. As if anyone actually wanted to know who I really am.
