I woke up after a bad dream. I dreamt about what had happened. And when I flew up from the bed I noticed Edward and Rose sitting beside me.
My first thought was that I guessed that they had told her about what had happened, and since she looked like she was crying, I guess he had told her of my dream, since he was sitting like he waned to hold me close and she looked like she could kill someone. Maybe him. I could still clearly see him in my head. His tall and broad build. His way to green eyes to his brown hair. To his birthmark just over his left eye, shaped like a heart with a crack in it. To his kind of pale look. YUK I can even still smell him when I'm stick in the memory.
I tried to shake the memory away and looked up at Edward. He looked deep in thought, so I just stood up and went to the bathroom. When I looked in the mirror I noticed that Rose had walked in with me. I guess she was a bit afraid of what I'd do just after having to feel it in a way again. I just smiled a small smile to her and looked in the mirror again. I turned to te side and lifted my shirt up. Maybe it would be noticeable soon. God how was I going to tell mom. Leah even. God what would Seth say. No one knew of what had happened to me. Mom just knew that I didn't like to be touched all of a sudden. That my appetite disappeared for over 3 weeks. She had to force me to eat.
I noticed cold arms hold me tight, I looked up at the mirror again to see that I was crying again. Huh I didn't even know I was doing that. Hmm
I turned so I was more in Rose's arms again and just cried out on her shoulder. She took me into my room again. I didn't even look up to see if we were alone now or not. I just thanked Rose in my mind that she held me right now. As I thought that I felt her hold me tighter.
"How am I going to tell my family Rose. I don't know what to do" I whispered out hoarsely.
"We will find a way Mira. And if they react badly, you will always have a home here. Always remember that." She said. It meant a lot to me, that I would always have a place to go if I needed it.
"You can call your mom and tell her while I'm right here, if you'd like. I know it's a bad way of doing it, but then you know more for how to react to it all. or do you want to have them all come here for a sort of meeting, so you will have us all here with you?" She asked me.
"I like the last one... Do you think that you could call mom or Seth to have them all come here. We better have the hole pack here, so I don't have to tell it more than once, and could you sit by me when I tell them. I really need you there"
"Of course sweetie. Hand me your phone and I will call Seth, I think that he will be the best one to call right now." I nodded, thinking that that would be a smart idea.
I snuggled closer to her, not lichening to what was being said.
She hugged me tighter sometime later.
"He was scared for you being here at first, but I told you that you were safe, but that you just waned to talk to all of them and you mom, that it was important, but that you weren't ready to come home yet. He agreed and would get them all to come here in an hour. So if you want you can take a shower and get ready. And I will go get you something ready to eat" She smiled kindly at me. I nodded and did as told.
I went downstairs and sat between Rose and Edward. They had a hand each. I knew this would be a tough one. I had Jasper sit as close to me as possible, so he could help me if it was needed.
I laid my head on Roses shoulder and breathed in and out and tried to relax.
I heard a knock on the door just after their hand squeezed mine. I guess it was time.
Carlisle stood up to open the door. I didn't try to lichen to what was being said. I couldn't.
I heard talking and some was even loud. But my mind was a hole other place...
The silence soon came but I still couldn't talk, my voice was gone.
'Edward can you help me please. I can't seem to talk right now' I pleaded Edward. He nodded. And started to talk. I hid my face in Rose's shoulder.
Suddenly I felt hands on my lap, and looked up to see mom looking at me with tears in her eyes.
"Baby, why didn't you tell me" She sobbed. I froze. She already knew. I didn't lichen so I didn't know it had been said yet. I felt Rose squeeze my hand getting me out of my brain clutter.
"I didn't know how" I whispered. Suddenly I heard several roars and several people run out of the room. Hmm I guess they couldn't look at me anymore...
"NO Mira, that was not why they ran"
"Sorry" Mom said.
"She thinks they ran out, because they couldn't look at her anymore." Edward said Mom looked more sad at that.
"I felt a bump thing from my stomach. huh that shouldn't be possible yet should it. I looked frightened up at Rose. I took her hand and left it there. And I felt it again. Rose looked in shock, but smiled hugely. That wasn't the answer I was looking for. I looked at Edward then and he looked fascinated at my stomach but looked like he was counting. I noticed his mouth move fast and Carlisle to stand up. Them mom moved. It all happened so fast. I was moved down so I was laying on the couch. And he was feeling my stomach. When he made it to a surtan place I felt it again. The bump thingy. Charlisle looked kind of scared then. "you said it happened 1½ month ago" he looked at Edward.. Edward nodded. Looking really worried now.
"Edward, I think it might be a hybrid of some kind. You told me how she described him, and you saw more that she did from the memory, plus she is a shifter. I really believe we have us a hybrid here. It feels like it is at least 3 months of age almost 4. And not just 1½. What do you think Edward" he said and moved out of the way so Edward could feel I guess. After Carlisle said that I was highly afraid. What did that mean for me?
For my baby? For us?
