39. pregnant! pt. 2 (captains)

hello wonderful readers!

here is a part two! i think the first part was very well received and i had a request to do kuroo, so i'm doing him, bokuto, oikawa, ushijima, terushima and futakuchi!

Kuroo:
- We all know Kuroo likes to have a calm demeanour and he likes to act very mature (the acting part is key to this sentence)
- So, that means he's going to act like you being pregnant is "no big deal" and he "has it under control", just so you're not stressing about how he feels
- He does a lot more housework and he's very gentle with you and he does his best to make you laugh
- He brings you food home from work, whether it's snacks or if you decided you want takeout for dinner, he has it
- Although he acts relaxed 24/7, the boy is very stressed 25/8 and that's mainly why he does so many chores around the house

Bokuto:
- Bokuto is bouncing off the walls excited
- The boy has no clue how to contain his excitement throughout the entire pregnancy but he will be the best supporter the whole nine months
- He always has your favourite foods stocked around the house, and somehow manages to already have your new favourites even if you haven't mentioned they're your favourite
- He LOVES to take you to trips to the store and call them "dates", even though you're both just buying furniture for the baby's room and all the baby essentials
- He's also prepping for your due date long before you even thought about it, he's gotten you cold pads made and has a gift box of snacks for the big day all ready for you

Oikawa:
- Oikawa is probably the best at handling your pregnancy, probably because he babysat all the time
- He's mostly excited to have a little child he can train into the best volleyball player ever
- He's gotten little volleyball decorations around the baby room (most of them are definitely his medals and trophies)
- He also has pictures of you two hung up (a few more of himself)
- Oikawa is for sure the type of baby daddy that will help you paint your toenails, puts your shoes and socks on for you, and basically does anything in his power to make the nine months as easy as possible for you
- This also includes him dialling down on his self-obsession

Ushijima:
- Ushijima is an awkward baby daddy
- He tries so hard to not be clumsy, but ends up being 10x clumsier
- He's clumsy when he tries to help with your shoes but always accidentally knots your laces, or clumsy trying to help you into cars and chairs
- He's nervous but he's doing the best he can and you know that, so he's extremely thankful for your understanding
- You're both very patient with one another, which makes it feel like you have nothing really changing to your body (he doesn't acknowledge your mood swings, so he won't get mad at you and instead talks to you like you aren't upset which helps you calm down and realize there's nothing to be upset about)

Terushima:
- I find he would be very similar to Bokuto and Oikawa, a mix of them
- He brings you on a date every weekend and shows you off to everybody in sight (he still shows off your body like he would when you weren't pregnant because he finds you mesmerizing
- All of his friends help chip in, building the baby room and the furniture, still inviting you two out to group get-togethers
- He also always asks you what you're feeling up to constantly throughout the day (small check-ins to make sure you're doing okay, if you want to leave somewhere or want something)

Futakuchi:
- Also has similarities to another character, which is Kuroo
- Likes to act very calm but is internally freaking out (I mean who wouldn't, he got his partner pregnant)
- He runs you baths all the time, makes sure you have all the essentials that you need (food, hair appointments, nail appointments, even paying for professional facials so you can have a spa day)
- Because you aren't at work and bored, he always plans a fun evening when he's off work, whether it's board games, a walk somewhere or just a drive out of town, just something
- He's trying his hardest to keep your life interesting and as relaxing as possible

i was honestly a little lazy to reread this multiple times so there may be some mistakes, i apologize

i hope you all enjoyed though, writing series is often hard because i try not to repeat myself and sometimes want to write too much because i've focused so much on a characters personality, but i think i've been improving!
