33. nationals support (mix)

IMPORTANT!!!
hi, if you haven't watched season 4 yet, i don't recommend reading this! (spoilers about season 4, so don't read! you've been warned so PLEASE do NOT read if you haven't seen season 4)

this will be about who and how you support your haikyu!! boyfriend at nationals!

Kageyama:
• No doubt in my mind, you don't sit, you stand outside the "boards" (the things that block fans from getting too close to the court) watching with anticipation for your boyfriend.
• You'll wear your favourite outfits each day of nationals, not to distract him, but so if he looks for you in the crowd (he doesn't, but you like to think he does) he can find you easily knowing your favourite outfits.
• Kageyama can honestly forget (and he does do it all the time) that he has somebody who loves him watching his game. He is so focused, nothing outside of how his team and himself are playing are inside his head
• Before games, he gives you a kiss on the forehead and says "I love you, cheer loud"
• After games, he waits around with his team, then once he can go off on his own, he wraps you in a big hug and says "Did you see my serves?"
• After the Inarizaki game, you RAN to him and gave him a huge hug, he played so well and you want to show him that

Bokuto:
• Bokuto is insanely focused in his game, but he also has a thought in his head saying "My girl is here, I'm going to win and make her proud"
• He loves when you wear his hoodies to games, that's what he wants you to wear to every single one of his games
• Before games, he kisses you quickly and runs to catch up with his teammates while shouting, "I'm going to make you the proudest girlfriend ever"
• After games, he runs up to you with a big grin and says "Did you see my hits today?!"
• WILL POINT AND SMILE TO YOU AFTER EACH POINT HE GETS
• After each game he won, you give him a bigger hug each time

Akaashi:
• Akaashi has insane focus, similar to Kageyama
• He doesn't necessarily forget you're dating him, but during a game he just doesn't think about you
• Akaashi is worried about his teammates and the game and that's all
• Before games, he'll kiss you on the cheek and just say a simple "I'll see you after, I love you"
• After games, he'll give you a sweet and genuine hug, and if you ask about how he feels or say, "You did good today!", he'll talk about the game. If not, he won't initiate that conversation
• He doesn't care about what you wear, he does enjoy it when you wear his hoodies, but he wants you to wear what you want
• He loves walking with you after his games to relax and make his heart rate go down

Tanaka:
• Loves knowing you're in the stands, he basically plays for you (like he'll smile and look up at you when he scores a point)
• He has focus, but he seems to play a lot better when he knows you're physically there supporting him (which makes it good that you go to every game)
• He'll give you a quick kiss and a "Watch how good I'll be!" before games and then rush to find his teammates in the huge crowd
• After games, he'll usually say something similar to what he said before, like, "Did you see how good I was?", only after giving you a kiss on the forehead
• After the big win against Inarizaki, you gave him so many kisses and hugs because he played so well

Kuro:
• Kuro is a big romantic, so he often gives a sweet hug and kiss before and after games
• He'll say he loves you and then goes to his court with his teammates
• Before his game with Karasuno, he gave you a tighter hug and more kisses than usual, almost as if he was calming himself
• He always says that he's going to play his best for you, although during each of the games he forgets you're watching
• Kuro loves hearing you cheer loudly for, not only himself, but his teammates as well
• He loves to know you have such a strong support for himself and his team (his team loves it too)
• PLEASE wear his hoodies, he loves it so much and WILL show his appreciation in any way possible

Kenma:
• Kenma is shy of PDA, but before the game against Karasuno, he gave you a big hug (super duper unusual)
• You couldn't tell if he was nervous or excited, but he was acting strange/different and you could only hope it was for the good of himself and his teammates
• He was talking about how excited he was to play against Karasuno, so you're feeling the excitement for him now too (and the stress but he doesn't need to know that)
• You wear his hoodie to each of the games and you're a big "cheerer" in the stands for his team and himself
• He doesn't often think about you during the game (like he never does) but after games he still shows appreciation for your support

Osamu:
• After the loss in his first and only game at nationals this year, you felt heartbroken for him
• He didn't cry but he was definitely upset and you could only hug him and tell him he played amazing
• Before the game, he was expecting an easy win (and so were you) but the disappointment afterwards (from himself, not from you) was a lot for him to handle
• He wanted to make you proud, but he also knew he played the best he could (or not, he definitely thinks he could've done better but he doesn't tell you that)
• Wants to go for food to distract himself but you force him to let you pay for all the food he eats (even though he's killing your wallet)

Atsumu:
• Atsumu has a much different reaction than his twin
• Before the game he also expected an easy win, so his disappointment in himself after the game was much greater
• He barely talks to you after and loosely holds your hand, he refused to go out to eat so you were stuck with him cuddling you until you could barely breathe
• He mumbles about "I wish you could've seen me win" or "I wish you could've been proud of me" and sad things along those lines
• The day after, you make him get all nice and clean (you doing the same) and you take him out for a day of fun, planning things as the day goes on
• He really appreciates it and doesn't want the day to end, only because his mind is distracted from the loss

Suna:
• Suna isn't disappointed, just upset
• He's confused, so you just tell him he played well, and you take him for some food (smoke a lil??? SKDKDJDJ)
• He lightly rants about how he feels he could've done something but he also knows he couldn't
• After the game, you gave him a big hug and a kiss and a "good job babe" (he really needed that, he didn't know it, but he did)
• Wants to spend the whole next week with you as a distraction

Kita:
• Has the reaction you expected, doesn't care (he does, it just doesn't affect him) and knew what was going to happen
• You know he genuinely does not care, he loves the sport but what can he do? He knows that very well
• A routine kiss and hug after and before the big game happened of course, you wearing his jacket as well
• Afterwards you both hung out (as per usual) and went out to eat from his favourite restaurant
• Although his team lost, you both still did your usual routine that he loves to keep going (you don't mind of course, you just want him to be happy)

Nishinoya:
• Noya was bouncing off the walls when he saw you after his game (not literally, just figuratively)
• Before the game he did say, "Ready for a big win?", and wow, was he right
• He wouldn't stop talking about the game, how he was so proud and so excited that his team is finally getting the achievements they worked so hard for
• Wanted to go out with you for celebratory food and celebratory time alone with you (not in that way)
• He was ecstatic and you felt the same amount of pure excitement that your boyfriend was feeling as well
• You also wore his favourite hoodie and he claimed that you were the loudest supporter in the stands (possibly true)

Daichi:
• Daichi was extremely happy and just so full of joy because of the big win
• He knew the team needed a big win for their confidence, but he also needed to know you were watching for his OWN confidence
• You wore his jacket and right when his team got the winning point, he looked up to you and shouted "We did it!" (his team just assumed it was for them)
• He knew you were his biggest fan there so the fact that he got an even bigger hug and kiss just made the win feel even more exciting
