34. meeting the coaches (karasuno)

hellooooo!! welcome for this update that took forever for some reason

I SLIGHTLY PROOF-READ THIS SORRY FOR ANY ERRORS I MISSED AND PLEASE READ BELOW

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3 AND 4!!!!!!!!!! (please don't read if you don't want to hear any spoilers!)

how is everybody doing today!
just wanted to check in with you all, leave a comment if you feel the need to and i'll try to remember to respond!! i hope you're all doing well, having a great day, morning, night, afternoon! (whenever you're reading this)

Daichi:
- You had asked to see what his practices were like, but he wasn't sure you would be able to watch
- He had asked Kiyoko if she wouldn't mind sitting next to you (of course she had said yes, she's your best friend)
- You showed up with Daichi and went over to the bench Kiyoko was sitting at when Coach Ukai came up to you both
- His first question was "Which one is your boyfriend?"
- Of course you told him it was Daichi, he laughed and said "I'll make him work extra if he breaks your heart" (Coach Ukai would be pissed if any of the boys hurt someone physically or emotionally because he wants them to be respectful and you can't tell me otherwise)

Kiyoko:
- She had asked you to come help out one practice before nationals because her and Yachi needed lots of help
- She got you to help with the boys jump heights/reach and water bottles (the easy stuff so she could take more notes)
- Ukai had come to thank you for the extra hand after practice and asked if you were dating someone on the team or just friends
- You had told him you were Kiyoko's partner and he had responded with "She's a good kid, very respectful."
- You know he supports you two because she's such a great help, he wants her to be happy

Sugawara:
- Sugawara had needed you to bring him his books after practice
- You came in and set them by his bag
- Ukai noticed and called you over, he likes to meet new people
- "Hi, I don't want to be rude but what are you doing here?" was Ukai's first words to you
- You told him Sugawara forgot his books at your house and he replied with "Oh I see, make sure you're there to support him at his games!"
- Needless to say, you support Suga at all his games

Asahi:
- He had forgotten his headbands and hair ties and needed you to drop some off
- You rushed over and accidentally bumped shoulders with Ukai
- You both apologized and he said "All good, are you here to drop off Asahi's stuff? He's been panicking"
- You laughed and said "Yes, he's quite forgetful when he's nervous" Ukai laughed and you went on your way
- Not the last interaction you have had with Ukai but the rest weren't so rushed and embarrassing

Ennoshita:
- Ennoshita had asked you to watch because you two had plans for after practice
- Ukai had asked who you were when you politely knocked before the practice was even starting
- "Hi, I'm y/n, Ennoshita was wondering if I could watch today"
- "Of course you can" was all Ukai said before gathering up the boys to start the practice
- Very simple, but he lets you watch whenever you need without having to ask

Kinoshita:
- Kinoshita had forgotten his shoes and needed you to drop them off
- Ukai was of course confused to see somebody random with one of the boys shoes at the door, but he let you in anyway
- "For Kinoshita" was all you said and he said "You're a good partner, he was in a panic"
- You both laughed and then you left, it was a short but good meeting

Narita:
- Very short meeting with Coach Ukai, Narita was a bit too nervous and needed you
- He needed some sort of support on the sides while he was practicing serves and a few other skills he needed to touch up
- So his best idea was to ask Coach Ukai if he's okay with you watching one practice
- Of course it was a yes, so you made your way to the gym with Narita and decided to talk to Coach Ukai
- It was just a friendly "Hello" and introducing yourself and thanking Ukai for letting you come
- Ukai was fond of that interaction so he lets you come to practices more often

Nishinoya:
- Noya basically screamed to Ukai that you're his partner, it was a bit embarrassing but Ukai laughed it off
- This was at the first practice he brought you to
- He had introduced himself as Noya's coach and you introduced yourself as well
- He asked if you wanted to watch more practices because Noya focused a lot better (probably so he could show off)
- You go quite often now, Ukai and you have gotten close (as close as an authority figure and teen could get, normal close)

Tanaka:
- Very similar situation to Noya
- Invited you to a practice so he could show off and Ukai quite obviously figured out who you were dating
- When practice ended he jokingly said "You're with that goofy kid?"
- Of course you laughed too, and agreed, joking about how funny Tanaka got when showing off
- You go to every practice now

Kageyama:
- Kageyama had told you to wait outside, he wasn't sure if you could watch practices
- Ukai saw you sitting outside and asked what you were doing
- Once you explained the situation he laughed and said "Well of course you can come in, I should make Kageyama do some harsh drills for making you wait outside in the burning heat"
- Ukai is very fond of you, you call Kageyama and have actually bettered him (which is beneficial for the team and not just Kageyama)
- You go to every single practice and game and practice game now

Hinata:
- Hinata was very excited to invite you to watch a practice match
- Ukai of course said yes, as long as he was able to meet you before and make sure you'd respect the rules of practice matches
- Ukai realized you're very polite and respectful and actually liked having you around since Hinata seemed to perform better when you're around
- Ukai was the one to invite you to all the practices and games from now on

Yachi:
- Yachi had a similar situation to Kiyoko, needing a helping hand because Kiyoko would be gone for one practice match
- Ukai said yes because any help was appreciated
- He had introduced himself and gave you directions and you did exactly as told which he really appreciated
- Ukai liked your help so much he was willing to have a third manager on the team

Tsukishima:
- You begged Tsukki to let you watch a practice, you really wanted to see what they're like
- He asked Ukai to say no, but Ukai really likes to joke around so he said yes and forced Tsukki to let you come
- Ukai had started a conversation about Tsukki not wanting you to come, you both laughed and talked which annoyed Tsukki but he'd never admit it
- You regularly come to practices now

Yamaguchi:
- Yamaguchi was very nervous to ask Ukai but you were persistent in finding a way to go to a practice
- Ukai didn't care enough to say no, so you came and had introduced yourself to Ukai and Takeda
- Takeda knows you as a polite and well-mannered person and Ukai now knows you the same way
- The two had told you, you can come anytime now because they enjoy being around somebody polite rather than the rowdy boys

has anyone been keeping up with Attack On Titan season 4??? ITS CRAZYYYYY!!!! i'm going to cry when it ends, it's my favourite anime right now
